Maybe on something newer than 2-3 years old, but not in my experience.

I wouldn't recommend Windows at all unless you use a lot of Windows-specific software. Even then, you should dual boot by putting a second hard disk in your machine and linking them with GRUB on one disk. If you're gonna use systemd, you might as well go with Ubuntu or Fedora.

What do you get? Some half assed app store? LTSB does everything that Windows 7 did with additional benefits like improved battery life and power management, slightly better driver support on newer hardware, and hybrid shutdown, as well as the built in virtual workspaces on the desktop. There's also decent tablet mode support if you have a touch screen, or you use VNC software to connect remotely with a tablet.

The normalfaggot editions of wangblows offer nothing in terms of day to day usability. Only "something happened" which seems to be the new BSOD. Doesn't happen on LTSB.

When you remove Cortana, and properly setup 10 pro it's awesome, I've never had a crash, never had an update force me to stop what I'm doing, and unlike LTSB Microsoft will help you, most LTSB keys are black/grey market meaning no support and even the possibility of the activation key you bought off pajeet in India will be revoked, pro can be just as good as LTSB just take your time to actually set it up

I modified the stock ISO myself to bypass activation checking and did some registry edits to make Windows think that it's activated. Who the fuck uses keys to pirate Winshit? Probably some mouth breathing fuck like you.

My next laptop will be a Thinkpad A485 and I don't know how solid the Raven Ridge support in amdgpu is yet, hence considering Windows. If Fedora or Arch or whatever has proper driver support I might go with that.
