no free food, my company is stingy. Usually work 8 hours, but sometimes much less and other times much more. I walk about 35 minutes each way to work and back, but I also usually work from home one day a week. Office is like a call center I fucking hate it.

>describe what you do in a typical day
come in earlier than everyone else, crank on code until noon or so, usually have a meeting or two in the early afternoon and then spend the late afternoon either answering people's questions, coding more or working on something management was too dumb to prioritize

>job satisfaction 0-10
4. Lots of money, my coworkers are morons. I'm slowly losing my passion because I'm surrounded by apathy

>leisure/spare time/social/time to yourself?
n/a. work, come home, video games / weed / tv / alcohol, repeat.

>what do you do with your acquired wealth?
save it. once I have enough money I'm going to buy a rural house, quit and never work in corporate america again.

There isnt much of a typical day; Some days I need to go out to a job site, some days I'm just working in the office on custom Tridium drivers, some days I'm literally just given some time to dick around with new devices
>Job Satisfaction
8/10, only downside is my boss can occasionally insist on me doing something the wrong way.
>Leisure time
Not much; I generally work 50+ hour weeks (Paid OT, so I go above that 40k number every year)
>What do you do with your acquired wealth
Save it mostly; When I do spend money, it's on random niche interests I float around to. I'm weirdly into cologne right now and sort of collecting it.

I have been working and earning a good salary, but I was called to do this job so I could get a title, and I actually need it for something I do on my off days.
I also live with my mother and his bf, so it's ok to get such a salary for me.

As all I get is for me and I don't pay much more than the internet at my home, I just buy nice stuff for myself, like new HDDs, cases. When I get the tittle, I will work less and get even more, I will try to climb up and such, it looks easy.

And gaming doesn't hold my interest anymore.
