so what does this mean?
a linux program can use my gpu?

So now linux will stay at 0.000000000002% of devices that is running it?

>the state of this fucking board

EMBRACE

It's summer, what did you expect?

Threadly reminder that that subsystem is NOT LINUX.
Microsoft made their own Linux "emulator"/compatibility layer using clean room engineering. It supposedly contains no code from kernel.org (kinda difficult to tell for sure, proprietary software and all).
It's rather some abomination that best be called GNU/NT, just GNU or "Linux-compatible subsystem". But definitely not Linux because it contains 0% Linux.

what's so difficult to understand
I want to use CUDA programs on Windows that are currently only available for Linux

Recompile them for Windows

I don't know how to do it and the readme on github only has install guide for Ubuntu
btw this is true for every CUDA program I wanted to use
fucking faggots won't upload an exe release

Lurk moar

lrn2linux then

Install GNU+Linux; then you don't have this problem

wut, how does that work? what kinda filesystem does it have? does it have an init system? wtf

use linux you brainlet, wtf are you complaining about?

CUDA support on WSL is already done. They are just having legal problems.

>wut, how does that work?
wikipedia
>what kinda filesystem does it have?
it uses the windows hard disk directly, without disk images, other filesystems etc.
>does it have an init system?
no.

Windows already implemented ssh and curl into their CLI directly.

it's p good

Based Microsoft protecting us from Linux's shit code.

>Allow me to interject for a moment. What you are referring to as 'Linux' is, in fact, GNU/NT, or as I have taken to calling it recently, GNU + NT/Windows.

Is dual-booting deprecated now?

Dual boot has been useless for a while because of virtualization

it's slow, problematic and takes too much disk space.
So yeah

>type here to search
t. boomer who finds moving the mouse and left clicking on the bottom left of the screen is faster than hitting the Windows Key

Dual booting has always been too annoying for every day use.
Pick a main OS and virtualize the other

good for you OP enjoy your cancer

it's funny how nmap doesn't work on WSL yet. They are probably skipping it intentionally.
