I need a decent midrange android phone in the $300-400 price range. So far I've been looking at the Moto Z2 force, Nokia 7 plus, and Pixel 2 if I can find a good deal on it. The only thing that concerns me is that the Pixel will only have another year of updates before it is eol and I dont know how much of thing custom roms are anymore security wise.

Xperia XZ2 Premium needs to hurry up

Just got the sms notification that phone came in the mail
I will go to PO box in the middle of the night as always because I'm scared of people :^)

Why doesn't the price of the P20 pro go down? Don't Chinks phones get worthless after a while?

Xiaomi Mi A1 vs
Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus vs
Huawei Mate 10 Lite Dual

is there a way to randomise ringtone?

Mi A1, android one is nice.

shitty countries get shittier quality products

look at an oukitel k6000 maybe a pro model even
dunno if it will work in the us on your carrier

more like Italy is third world so the prices are far cheaper

mi8 will blow everything else away

Hopefully with a micro SD card slot this time.

Country: US
Carrier: T-Mobile
Features: this is difficult to answer. I've mostly had Samsung phones, namely note 3, note 7, and currently s7 edge. I absolutely loved the Note 7. It had a good size screen, just the right weight, the curve of the screen didn't have weird stuff happen when my hand slightly touched it, it was perfect.
Budget: I can handle about 700 right now. Maybe up to 1000 if I work another 2 checks just to be in the clear after buying a phone.
Size: I want a big screen, but not something that is overtly huge for a phone. I don't want a tablet. The biggest screen phones I've had was both note 3 and 7, since they are both identical at 5.7 inches.

To give more information, I use my phone as a computer too. I have a computer at home but it's been ages since I've had a working one so my phones have always been everything for me. I looked at the Note 8 while typing this and the screen is bigger, looks nicer, but I don't know if those Chinese phones are a better alternative. I've always been more leaning towards Samsung. I'm willing to see what's out there.

>What do I do first?!
Unlock the bootloader of course.

That looks awesome but sadly won't be fully compatible.

Personally would take Mi A1 over 10 Lite but current best option is Redmi Note 5 for current processor that is 2 tier higher than 625 A1 used

Moto E4 Plus is like $130 with a 5000mah battery. Honor 7X is $199, has a 3340mah battery.

Note 8 or S9+, use it with DeX

When is it being released?
Tbh I have a 100 euros coupon for a chain store so I have to buy something by the end of the month

Someone redpill me on Nokia 8 and Oneplus 5t. Which of the two should I get if I plan on using my phone for gaming? I mostly play rhythm games.

any clues on when we get to see more of this bad chink boy?

Attached: lenovo-z5-ching-chong-weibo-w782.jpg (782x440, 19K)

Who cares

>phone for gaming?
it literally doesnt matter, as long as it has 2gb+ of ram youre good

>tfw no 5" bezeless phone..

Attached: 5inch.jpg (960x720, 177K)

I do. if the specs are decent it might be the first and last phone I bother buying for several years.

whats on the left?

What's more favourable or more outstanding.

5t

I shrinked mi mix 2 to match what it would look like with around 5" display

I'm currently on a SD625 phone with 3gb of ram and it can barely keep up with my rhythm game when I have the 3d mode on.

How prevalent is the screen burn in 5t's amoled display? I sometimes play for hours continously especially when it's the last day of an event, but my brightness doesn't exceed 20% on my current phone with lcd.

Xposed module or Tasker, yeah

Question!

I'm buying Moto G5 and was wondering if 16 GB internal memory is enoigh if I'm going to put 64 GB sd card inside or should I go for 32 GB version (it's 50 USD more expensive)?

Attached: pleaserespond4.jpg (750x750, 169K)

This, I'm hoping the Lenovo Z5 isn't big as fuck, but i'm hoping against hope.. it'll probably be like 6.1"..

>I'm currently on a SD625 phone with 3gb of ram and it can barely keep up with my rhythm game when I have the 3d mode on.
Is this a game you developed?

>5.5"

Attached: index.png (283x424, 195K)

Apparently it will have a 45-day standby battery.
This phone is shaping up to be quite something.

This.

S9+, unless you want the stylus

Oneplus 5T has a lower resolution so performance should be better. I'd think the bigger screen on the OP is also comfier for gaming.

A-anyone?

Attached: pleaserespond2.jpg (225x225, 11K)

Don't buy a Moto G5

Why would you say that? It took me days to make this decision. Moto G5 is closest to what I need.

any other info? When is it finna drop? Price? Other specs?

So why haven't you bought the only smartphone on the market that supports VoLTE/VoWiFi on two SIM cards at the same time yet, Anons?

Attached: samsung-galaxy-s9-coral-blue-back-2.jpg (1600x1200, 233K)

idk the spanish version is also more expensive I got an "other international version" in amazon.es for 550 eurosheckels.

It's 2018 and I want to buy a WP device

15 june

>the only smartphone
Wrong. Oneplus 6, RealMe 1, Asus Zenfone 5 Pro M1, Oppo F7, Nokia 7 Plus, Huawei View 10, Honor 10 all have dual VoLTE.

give me a review paella nigger

I wish I could, still waiting the shipping

>VoLTE/VoWiFi
Because this is a niche, region specific feature.

is there an app for android that can read aloud incoming texts and calls from google hangouts? non-root if possible.

To you guys with NFC enabled Xiaomi phones running Global MIUI, do you have Mi Pay, and if so do you have an option to add transport cards (might be called bus cards)?
I'm in Mainland China so I'll be able to use Mi Wallet with my Chinese cards with no problem, but once the Global ROM comes out I want to know if I'll still be able to use it here.

go to settings and look for accessibility might allow you to do this

i'm seeing talkback settings and such, they're kinda shit and near destroy usability of the phone
it's a galaxy s5 with android 6.0, not much else for anything text to speech related. god why is android so shit for this, even my old windows phone had tts for caller id and texts as a built in option.

In where I live, the Galaxy S9 is only $200 more expensive than the OnePlus 6. Does it make more sense to save up for the Samsung instead? My only concern is TouchJizz.

I'm going to update my LOS with microG from 14.1 to 15.1 on my mido.

What should I know before doing this? Any tips? It's the first time I'll be updating LOS with microG, I read it's kinda complicated with the way microG is.

Depends how you'll be using it, and what's 50 buckets for you.

Check your current phone. Are you already saving space? Deleting stuff? If yes then compare your current size to what you'd want.

If you're on 32, then go for the 64.

My moms paycheck needs to hurry up

It'll never happen, but a OnePlus 6 Compact (5" or smaller) could have all of my money.

Thats a nice looking mi8

Xz2 compact?

U

What phone with flagship specs is 5.7 inch body or under
>t.manlet

My current phone is Sony Xperia J. I'm using it only for calling and texting, anything else is too much of pain in the ass. With Moto G5 I'm sure it will change, but still I don't think I'll do much more than browsing the net/using navigation. I'm not into mobile games, and even if I did start playing, I can still store them on external memory, can't I?
T-thanks for answering
Smasung galaxy not 4

Why isn't left a thing?

Why can't we get one camera cluster in a small module that slides out the top, can be rotated 180 for selfies?

consider 6+ inch phone with small bezels because it could have a similar screen size to a 5.5 inch screen from a few years ago
phonearena.com/phones/size//phones/size/OnePlus-2,OnePlus-6/phones/9520,10844

with 550ppi god yes

Netguard, dns66, adaway or another? Whats your poison and why?

I think you can, I'm not much into that.

Honestly? If you don't plan to store and watch a lot of video in HD, you don't need 64. If your /mu/ isn't big, you don't need 64. If you don't store a lot of pictures, same.

If for you 50 buckets is important just go for the 32.

Not a problem, enjoy your new phone!

I'll send the individual breakdowns next

Attached: Screenshot_20180523-133504.png (1080x1920, 93K)

Go for the higher storage. Your SD card can store photos, music, movies, porn etc. but for apps you’re going to need on board storage.

>youtu.be/oD_3wMh5kLg
Have you watched this anons?

Attached: Screenshot_20180523-134151.png (1080x1920, 62K)

Anyone else got the Nokia 7 Plus here? Touch screen becomes increasingly unresponsive and have to be reset by locking and unlocking the screen after the 8.1 update. Seems like a lot of people are having this issue, so I'm not sure if I should wait for a patch.

community.phones.nokia.com/support/discussions/topics/7000023755

>If you don't plan to store and watch a lot of video in HD
Checked.
>If your /mu/ isn't big
I have external player for music.
>If you don't store a lot of pictures
I kind of do, but I'm sure pictures can be stored on sd card.

However, you seem to misunderstand - it's not about 32 or 64, but 16 or 32.

and finally

basically if you plan on playing games get more internal storage otherwise it's not really necessary

Attached: Screenshot_20180523-134224.png (1080x1920, 204K)

>Apps: 14.55 GB
W-why? Are you using all of them?

Attached: 1526657666671.png (238x197, 74K)

Reported to the fbi

Get 32 i used to have the opx 16gb and it was a constant struggle of moving stuff even though i didn't have too many apps

Adaway if you have root, DNS66 or Blokada if not.

How to root a Note 4 and any firmwares worth getting?

Attached: 220px-Samsung_Galaxy_Note_4_black_with_S_Pen[1].jpg (220x391, 15K)

You have shit taste. Go for the 16gb variant so you don’t have space to install those shitty apps ever again.

im looking for a smartphone, US, probably gonna use AT&T.
im looking for something unlocked, but also gimmicky, because I generally dont care for smartphones. was looking at the keyone but that thing is pricey. my budget would be preferably under 200 bucks, though if a keyone is worth it i dont mind paying a bit more for it

It was mostly C and E for me. Funny how despite all of Oneplus’ bravado none of the pics from A looked appealing kek

YouTube tutorials for rooting and XDA forums for choosing a custom ROM.

Thanks

I'm looking for an android phone ~500-600$. Bigger display is better. Rear fingerprint scanner.
I don't really have a hard pricepoint, just want to keep it mid-range. I like newer stuff,
