I need a decent midrange android phone in the $300-400 price range. So far I've been looking at the Moto Z2 force, Nokia 7 plus, and Pixel 2 if I can find a good deal on it. The only thing that concerns me is that the Pixel will only have another year of updates before it is eol and I dont know how much of thing custom roms are anymore security wise.
Why doesn't the price of the P20 pro go down? Don't Chinks phones get worthless after a while?

>brand new s9 is £200 cheaper if you choose the 'italian' version on amazon Explain
Country: US Carrier: T-Mobile Features: this is difficult to answer. I've mostly had Samsung phones, namely note 3, note 7, and currently s7 edge. I absolutely loved the Note 7. It had a good size screen, just the right weight, the curve of the screen didn't have weird stuff happen when my hand slightly touched it, it was perfect. Budget: I can handle about 700 right now. Maybe up to 1000 if I work another 2 checks just to be in the clear after buying a phone. Size: I want a big screen, but not something that is overtly huge for a phone. I don't want a tablet. The biggest screen phones I've had was both note 3 and 7, since they are both identical at 5.7 inches.
To give more information, I use my phone as a computer too. I have a computer at home but it's been ages since I've had a working one so my phones have always been everything for me. I looked at the Note 8 while typing this and the screen is bigger, looks nicer, but I don't know if those Chinese phones are a better alternative. I've always been more leaning towards Samsung. I'm willing to see what's out there.
I do. if the specs are decent it might be the first and last phone I bother buying for several years.

I'm currently on a SD625 phone with 3gb of ram and it can barely keep up with my rhythm game when I have the 3d mode on.
How prevalent is the screen burn in 5t's amoled display? I sometimes play for hours continously especially when it's the last day of an event, but my brightness doesn't exceed 20% on my current phone with lcd.

Question!
I'm buying Moto G5 and was wondering if 16 GB internal memory is enoigh if I'm going to put 64 GB sd card inside or should I go for 32 GB version (it's 50 USD more expensive)?
This, I'm hoping the Lenovo Z5 isn't big as fuck, but i'm hoping against hope.. it'll probably be like 6.1"..

is there an app for android that can read aloud incoming texts and calls from google hangouts? non-root if possible.

To you guys with NFC enabled Xiaomi phones running Global MIUI, do you have Mi Pay, and if so do you have an option to add transport cards (might be called bus cards)? I'm in Mainland China so I'll be able to use Mi Wallet with my Chinese cards with no problem, but once the Global ROM comes out I want to know if I'll still be able to use it here.

go to settings and look for accessibility might allow you to do this

i'm seeing talkback settings and such, they're kinda shit and near destroy usability of the phone it's a galaxy s5 with android 6.0, not much else for anything text to speech related. god why is android so shit for this, even my old windows phone had tts for caller id and texts as a built in option.

In where I live, the Galaxy S9 is only $200 more expensive than the OnePlus 6. Does it make more sense to save up for the Samsung instead? My only concern is TouchJizz.
I'm going to update my LOS with microG from 14.1 to 15.1 on my mido.
What should I know before doing this? Any tips? It's the first time I'll be updating LOS with microG, I read it's kinda complicated with the way microG is.

Depends how you'll be using it, and what's 50 buckets for you.
Check your current phone. Are you already saving space? Deleting stuff? If yes then compare your current size to what you'd want.
If you're on 32, then go for the 64.

My current phone is Sony Xperia J. I'm using it only for calling and texting, anything else is too much of pain in the ass. With Moto G5 I'm sure it will change, but still I don't think I'll do much more than browsing the net/using navigation. I'm not into mobile games, and even if I did start playing, I can still store them on external memory, can't I?

Why isn't left a thing?
Why can't we get one camera cluster in a small module that slides out the top, can be rotated 180 for selfies?
Netguard, dns66, adaway or another? Whats your poison and why?
William Brooks
I think you can, I'm not much into that.
Honestly? If you don't plan to store and watch a lot of video in HD, you don't need 64. If your /mu/ isn't big, you don't need 64. If you don't store a lot of pictures, same.
If for you 50 buckets is important just go for the 32.
Anyone else got the Nokia 7 Plus here? Touch screen becomes increasingly unresponsive and have to be reset by locking and unlocking the screen after the 8.1 update. Seems like a lot of people are having this issue, so I'm not sure if I should wait for a patch.
>If you don't plan to store and watch a lot of video in HD Checked. >If your /mu/ isn't big I have external player for music. >If you don't store a lot of pictures I kind of do, but I'm sure pictures can be stored on sd card.
However, you seem to misunderstand - it's not about 32 or 64, but 16 or 32.
Jaxson Smith
and finally
basically if you plan on playing games get more internal storage otherwise it's not really necessary
You have shit taste. Go for the 16gb variant so you don’t have space to install those shitty apps ever again.

im looking for a smartphone, US, probably gonna use AT&T. im looking for something unlocked, but also gimmicky, because I generally dont care for smartphones. was looking at the keyone but that thing is pricey. my budget would be preferably under 200 bucks, though if a keyone is worth it i dont mind paying a bit more for it

It was mostly C and E for me. Funny how despite all of Oneplus’ bravado none of the pics from A looked appealing kek

USA Verizon I'm looking for an android phone ~500-600$. Bigger display is better. Rear fingerprint scanner. I don't really have a hard pricepoint, just want to keep it mid-range. I like newer stuff,
