>if you want 4k you drop in hz and have to get touch
>proprietary power connector, not USB C
>not known for reliability

yeah ill pass

>>upgradable storage
>>upgradable ram
gamechanger

>i don't need 16gb ram now but will need it for sure in the future
>needing huge storage on a laptop
>paying for high storage ssds

USB-C max power is only 100W

lol intel confirmed housfire

>no number pad

>Falling for the aluminium Case meme

he was being sarcastic because you already get that

>144hz ips display
>1070
And 2 hours of battery life lol. Might as well just buy a desktop.

I like my desktop, but I don't like bringing it places. A laptop is always more convenient to bring anywhere, even if you have to plug it in.

My laptop runs a 1050ti, but it has a quiet/power saving mode and I swear it lasts longer than any computer I know.
Oh and having a portable graphics processor has been VERY handy when I want to bring my computer over to say a friends house and play some games.
I didn't expect it to be that useful.

>having a laptop needing more than 100W charger, let alone 65 or 90

top kek

so when you're visiting friends, you just sit on a couch, ask for cold coke and start playing your shitty games on a laptop?

>my 150€ thinkpad costs as much as this 2k ultrabook

>implying I have friends

>mobile
Its a desktop gpu

and this is supposed to be better than a dell xps how?

I was looking at these today 3.5k aud. Seems a little pricey. Like i wish there was a cheaper variant. I just want a decently thin (mbp/ rb level) laptop with like an i5 8th gen and a 1050 with a 1080p ips screen. They all feel like shit or have thermal issues

who would have thought a quad core cpu and a desktop gpu would have issues in a tiny case sharing a heat pipe

what laptop?

The tdps on these cards are pretty low, 1050 is 65w? I just wanna be comfy

It's almost like if you don't wanna throttle your gaming computer you gotta supply more power

>lithium batteries can't supply 8amps

>no touchpad buttons
haha

That's just for the GPU
The CPU consumes somewhere around that level as well
So anywhere from 150w to 200w
And that's not even them running full blast at max continually

Too heavy.

> 144hz ips display
good
> 1070
garbage
> upgradable storage
so what? i can put 3 different SSD's in my laptop
> upgradable ram
wew
> best touchpad for a non-Macbook
trackpoint is better anyways

Wrong.
