It's just a lil joke user, nice speeds.

>Topping out the 5GHz band
That's fuckin nice.

topping out a 2x2 stream anyway.

4x4 can hit over 1gbps, and i've seen 945mbps to speedtest servers over wifi with a macbook pro.

Here's mine! just got gigabit today

this is over wifi, far from the router. my old asus rtn66u can only push about 100mbps for some reason so i'm connecting directly to the modem now. is it broken? or is that really all it can do?

anyone have some advice on how to improve this? is internet over power a good idea?

The wifi really limits you, your internet is probably fast as fuck, my ethernet is the OP pic and this is what I was dealing with over wireless g with a really crappy medialink usb.

yes, i have the same internet as except with comcast. we're both in virginia. never thought this state would have top tier internet before many others did.

Some states are just lucky as hell, here in CA my Time Warner internet 20/2 was really meh, then spectrum buys em out and I get free upgrade to 50/5, then recently 60/5.

Would love to have a fiber to the home connection but Frontier isn't gonna build that here.

Comcast upload speed is sadly some ass.
Though their 2gbps service is great

yes, i don't do much uploading so i'm fine with it. i read that comcast has some ipv6 tech that works better for gaming so i went with them.

2gbps sounds nice but it's totally unnecessary.. pretty sure where i am it's like $200-300/mo too

>2gbps
That's some next level shit, my board's controller can't even do it and Spectrum only offers 940mbps max.

I hate comcast for that 250GB cap shit, but they're not fucking around offering speeds needing an upgraded NIC just to take advantage of..

IPV6 is irrelevant for most home internet users.

Verizon destroys Comcast, despite Verizon having no IPV6 support at all.

>france
>39.99 eurodollars per month
>no dns censorship
>no cap
>no throttling
>same bandwidth 24/7/365
feels comfy

Is that over a copper telephone line not backed by fiber? it's not bad if it is, though I would want something more if you're doing anything other than gaymen.

This is a good day, using ethernet.
I might switch to 4G soon.

It kills me because I used to have 150Mb/s.

It is copper, yes, but I'm like right next to the devider so they expect me to get ~17Mb/s which I obviously do not.
And indeed, for games its fine, but a single live stream of anything is enough to kill the entire network.

Yeah that is kinda crappy, I lived really far from the Verizon Central office and was still getting 6.5 down and 0.74 up on my old DSL, still really miss having that connection since they discontinued it here.

>mfw i see all these huge numbers

holy shit i really am living in the third world

That's pretty good, we're off contact paying $98 for 60/5 and a telephone (mom is Gen X and uses that shit).
