Geekbench is not a representative benchmark. Apple's chips are fast, probably faster than most other phone chips, but they're limited by only having clang, throttling quickly, and will be gimped due to low battery voltage.

Most phones don't support hardware encryption as the apple phones, and shit like geekbench are heavily biased by encryption tests.
So as long you're encrypting a LOT of data, then yes the iphones are faster, but for anything else yeah, not giving a toss.
