Someone please get rid of or stop participating in the shitting consumerist threads (mkg, bst, etc.) and get rid of wallpaper, speccy, smartphone, audio threads.

A janitor once banned me because I told him to stop trying to derail the thread into Jow Forums shit. He went full damage control when I called him out on his obvious abuse of janitor status, and ended up deleting the thread to cover up his shit. The mod staff on this website really will ban you just for upsetting their feelings.

Usually I make or contribute to threads about openbsd or netsec. Yesterday I made a gdpr bait thread and got more (you)s than I could have ever dreamed of posting about security and programming. The worrying thing was not even the people who felt the need to point out it was a bait thread, but the people who thought I was being serious.
