I just switched from the Jewgle Chrome Botnet to SJWFox two weeks ago.
You either have the choice between SJW+Botnet (Chrome), Botnet (Brave, Opera) or SJW (Firefox), and I personally prefer the SJW without botnet option.

It isn't, out of the box. You have to install addons and change a few hundred about:config settings. (There is, at least, a user.js file to make this simpler, github.com/ghacksuserjs/ghacks-user.js)

That's still better than Chrom[e,ium] where you have to literally edit out hardcoded Google spying and recompile the thing, and then install the same addons, and then find that several of the settings you can disable in Firefox (eg, turning off various JS APIs as an anti-fingerprinting measure) just can't be disabled at all in Chrome.

Otherwise you could have a bunch of cronyism in which only few people have the spotlight.
