I loved k800i with it's fuckhuge camera and actual flash and instant action after opening the lens cover.
It was probably first phone that was able to take perfectly readable macro photos of A4 printed sheet. It was super comfy feature in my uni years when everyone else stood in lines to paid copy machines because their 2mp camera phones produced blurry shit.

SE couldn't keep up with the competition, The Nokia N95 and Iphone were far better than the W960 which was SE's top of the line product at the time.
Instead of pushing Symbian and good hardware as hard as they could they continue to release cheap Walkman phones.
Soon Nokia released the Nokia 5800 stealing SE's "crown" as the best music player.
It was cheap as fuck, GPS, dual camera, wifi, came with a 8gb memory card included and Symbian, you could even play GameBoy Advance games on it, albeit without in-game audio but you could still play your own music using the built in music player running on the background.
It was a great phone, it was capable of browsing Jow Forums without any issue whatsoever.

I know some guys that buy high end xperias and all of them are quite loyal to the brand. They all had older xperias and don't look for a replacement outside the brand.

UIQ crashed around that time just showing a black flag for symbian world. G700 and P990 was their actual flagship in 2006. In 2007 they has K850 or something agains N95. They also has some symbian and winmo phones later but all of them were shit thanks to the OS.

Sony Ericsson really did make some innovative phones. Typically strong and cool looking too. Nice UI and decent music player.

I had one running android, beautiful screen, very good camera and perfect size (i'm a manlet with small hands). That shit was comfy, the only downside was the shitty UI and software support.

They reused the same hardware under different lines multiple times, I had a K550 with a W610 firmware.
They also did it with some of their high end PDAs too.

One of the greatest phones I've ever owned.
