Vanilla Music

Poweramp or Rocket

VLC

have u tried spotify

nah bro apple music is where it's at

Vinyl Music Player.

Poweramp obviously

Odyssey

Pulsar, version 1.7.6 is the best free version.
It's the only one I've found that has a nice breakdown of both an artist's albums and all the songs on one screen, and it supports my cover art setup of having the album art in the album's folder, not tagged to the songs. The only issue I found is it has a might need to be reopened if you connect to a bluetooth speaker while the app is open. And it's a Chinese botnet, so do what you can to keep it off the internet.

Nothing beats PlayerPro, I have been using it for 5 years now.

VLC because it supports opus files natively.

fpbp

I've been using BlackPlayer EX for a while now

Got no complains

AIMP

Black player

AIMP! :3

Phonograph

Use vinyl player instead, it's a free fork of phonograph and available on f-droid
This is great for audiobooks that aren't in your music folder

You Android cucks sure are piss poor at design

I paid for Poweramp so it must be Poweramp.

PowerAmp + Viper4Android

It takes 10 million years to scroll through my albums when the tiles are bigger

Which is the one that can load in folders? I absolutely can't understand why a music player would not be able to select folders as a source.

cmus

Retro Music Player
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=code.name.monkey.retromusic&hl=fr
Plus it's FOSS.

>monkey code apps
Heh

Google Play Music

Clean Music Player
>directory based navigation
>playlist support
>lightweight

So.. AIMP but feature-less and broken.

>broken
No.
>featureless
depends, what do you need to play your music, other than playlists and gapless playback?

This

Foobar

Foobar2000

>>broken
>No.
Does not see the SD card on my Android 8 device. So it's broken.

GoneMAD. There is no substitute.

then select it. It works here, so it's a user problem

I tried. It does not show at all.

This desu

Thirding this
It's so clean and effective, and even has an amoled mode for samshit and co

Exibit A shows that what you refer to as 'android cuck' has more control over his phone than you ever had of your life

Neutron or jetaudio.
>all these people rating players solely by how they look
Disgusting. Are you looking at your music or listening to it?

n7 player + Dolby atmos

Tried it cracked from aptoide. It was so good I ended up buying it from the playstore.

Phonograph is free too, no?

Foobar, ofc

It's not on f-droid because it's linked against google libraries, but the app itself is free software afaik. Vinyl removed those dependencies for native android ones

BlackPlayer EX

I love VLC, but I can't seem to get it play a list of songs eg: I play a song then when the song finishes it stops playing instead of going on to the next one. Is there a way to get it to go on the next song?

I use AIMP but it doesn't even matter.
I mean, what the fuck do you want from a piece of software that should simply play a list of audio files? How can you even compare those?

if you have samsung phone, try their current samsung music player, it is actually pretty damn good.

JetAudio Plus

VLC

The stock player is best because it is already there and just works.

Get an amp and use whatever.

Play Music
>supports local music very well
>can have local and streamed music I'm the same playlist if you fall for the streaming jew

>using anything google
Unironically neck yourself

Does this support Opus files?

I own a Google pixel 2, pay $10 a month for Google play music, sometimes rent movies from Google play movies and I use Google chrome
Embrace the botnet user

It supports everything that android considers a music file, so no. I still wait for the lineage guys to enabled opus support by default, but they didn't do it yet
You may embrace the botnet all you want, but fuck off from this board

What's a good player that also supports Android Auto in a non-retarded way? So far Rocket works, but I'm curious if there are others. I want to be able to browse hierarchically by Artist->Album->Songs and have the songs be in album order. Most Android Auto compatible apps I've seen actually don't allow you to do this and only list alphabetically. I'd also like to be able to shuffle all songs, not just by artist or album, to which again, most Android Auto compatible apps fail to do

Fag. ThePirateBay works better.

I like Timber, but desu Eleven is also just fine.

>implying 99% of Jow Forums aren't embracing the botnet right now and just running gahnoo linucks in a VM
shigger nigger
poorfag

Switch to songs tab, there should be a round button on the bottom right corner, if not, scroll down a bit. Press that.

>this desu

Shuttle is really good desu

Attached: 1c7 (2).png (350x895, 195K)

>play button isn't even round

Last time I check you were the only faggot around
>not knowing how to greentext

last time i checked it cant play flacs tho

(⸍⸌̣ʷ̣̫⸍̣⸌)

>play button isn't even round
Well it does now

Is that blackplayer? Might go for this one.

this nigga gets it

Sure it you can customize almost every cosmetic aspect of it

Poweramp
But I'm stuck with UAPP because PEQ. Horrible interface, but usable unlike Neutron.

>that banding

/thread

Anyone use GMPP?

For some reason I've always liked it and never had a reason to move away. Simple functional UI and very customizable

Wot?

Attached: Screenshot_2018-05-27-20-24-36.png (1440x2560, 2.17M)

I use that
It's shit

Then why are you still using it

it looks nice
and I can't find any better, but I checking all that everybody is posting

Just tried it out, fantastic fucking app mate.

Had to scroll this far down for a proper answer.

Shuttle, musicolet, retro.
