This may come as a shock to you, but there are actually skilled Indians, too.

Assume A is equal or larger, if not, switch the two arrays to be that way.
Check of value of a[(A + B)/2] and b[0].
If they are equal, then it is the median.
If not, the median must lie between the two values. You can continue to perform binary search in A to get closer to the median. If C is the index you are currently looking at in array a, compare a[C] with b[(A + B)/2 - C], and update C according to the results if they are not equal. Of course (A + B)/2 - C can't go out of bounds in B, but if you reach that point you should be close enough to change it one at a time instead of binary search.

b = [4, 5, 6, 10]

11 total entries, a[5] = 9 and b[0] = 4. a is larger so decrease the index in a.
Check a[2] = 3 and b[3] = 10. b is larger so increase the index in a.
Check a[3] = 7 and b[2] = 6. At this point, the index only updated by 1 so one of these is the median. We know there are exactly 3 values in a less than 7, and 2 values in b less than 6. So there are 5 values in total less than 6, so 6 is the median.
