GerMONEY, right? I was living there for 2 months on a project. It was cheaper for me to use my phone plan and pay the roaming fees than deal with that shit... Even at the hotel I had to pay for normal Wi-Fi...

>Cricket "Unlimited 2"
>$40/month
>unlimited data
>speeds capped at 3mbps
>video throttled to 1.5mbps

The shitty speeds don't bother me too much, but the coverage and indoor reception is way worse than I expected. Cricket is an AT&T subsidiary and runs on AT&T network, which I thought was supposed to be on par with Verizon, but that has not been my experience at all. I get no service at work and have to resort to wifi calling, while co workers with Verizon have 3-4 bars all the time. Once my 1 year promotional price is over I'll probably switch to Verizon even though it's double the price.

I'm limited to ~3-4GB a month, and a single speedtest is like 5% of that, so i'll post a speedtest I did back in 2017.

See that "change server" button? If you know there is better server to use, pick it.

Pretty trippy seeing speeds faster than my 60mbps ethernet internet here
My 3G is only 1mbps, though I don't really care because I only use it outside

This is a thread for mobile internet (3g/4g/LTE)
If we start posting home internet, you'll see 1gbps fiber and all sorts of higher speeds.

For comparision, UK, surrey.

Optus, The hills (Australia)

Thinking about switching to the Telstra unlimited deal, 4gx looks neato.

Kek
It's good service, but the initial installation costs aren't cheap, around $1000 to Comcast and then you have to provide your own 2gbps capable router and other network gear.

I use AT&T, so no idea.

Though it is unlimited data on the service itself, even if you're in a state that enforces their 1tb data cap.

Mines not that great

What plan is that? I could honestly live with that, I really just use data for email and navigation.

T-Mobile

It's a family plan with 4 lines for $110 a month. I've seen peak sustained speeds of 75Mbps.
