Okay find me a better laptop that has a 2560x1600 retina display, 512/1TB SSD, over 9 hours of battery life, amazing build quality and customer support like Apple, precision touchpad, and OS.
linuxtoddler cant accept that macs are superior in every way possible
John Howard
I have a 2016 MBP which I love but the part where your palm rests on the right side is clearly fading off and at the right angle it fucking looks like shit. It's pissing me off.
Julian Jackson
Find me literally any other "premium" laptop that requires a $600 repair after encountering a single spec of dust. Checkmate.
Bentley Lee
>, amazing build quality and customer support like Apple
I have Apple hardware, and I can tell you pro customer support currently is SHIT, it wasn't always that way. Normal users have been cucked for years and last time you got some decent service from Apple as normal user was probably circa 2006.
Under pennypincher Tim Cook Apple has gone to utter shit, they even took Mac chime chips out of boards to save few pennies.
Josiah Anderson
>amazing build quality and customer support like Apple
2/10
Troll less obvious next time.
Isaiah Morales
They don't have an answer.
You forgot to add 16:10 aspect ratio.
Cooper Johnson
I bought a 2017 full spec, 15in MBP to use on deployments and I have had zero issues.
The laptop is great because not only does it do everything I need it to it doesn't take up a lot of space.
It's funny watching these other guys trying to fit those gaming monstrosities in their lockers
It doesn't hold a candle to my desktop back at home but after using both windows and Mac OS for substantial periods of time I can see why people like Mac OS so much.
My take on the keyboards is that the only time you really post online about something is if it breaks so all these keyboard problems you see are from those people but nobody takes into account the thousands of others that have no issues.
hope you have applecare when the keyboard fucks up due to a crumb
Jason Torres
literally any laptop made by the windows oems, it isn't 2009 anymore
Jason Thomas
I've had this since mid/late last year and have yet to have any issues.
I take care of my stuff and don't eat over it so "crumbs" are a non issue.
Isaiah Morgan
>2006-2015 >trackpad impossible to click near upper edge & loose at bottom >flimsy diving board piece of shit >even applel admitted it's shit and went back to non-click touchpads >shit tier 1mm travel chiclet kb >OSX has horrendous battery management >applel's solution is to cram in a heavy 95WHr battery >even XTREME GAMER laptops like razer blade with 4X the CPU/GPU power and 70WHr battery matches it in battery life in same tasks >gets BTFO by 55WHr Windows laptops in battery life in same tasks >the battery takes up the space where a cooling system would've been in a laptop not designed by the world's thinnest and lightest gay hipsters >overheats constantly from abysmal crippled cooling system >throttles to 800mhz due to chronic overheating problems >heat exhaust literally blows hot air onto screen >screen melts off and separates >retina meme for "pros" have have gloss mirror coating impossible to use with overhead lighting >blurry as shit retina meme scaling >shitbook air even worse with glossy 1366x768 TN eye cancer >systemic battery explosion problems for over a decade
>2016+ >same problems as above plus: youtube.com/watch?v=NYVjIjBMx6o >can't use any existing TB3 devices >can't use USB and wifi at the same time >ultra shit tier zero travel kb >keyboard louder than WWII cricket >keyboard fails and requires $1000 repair if a speck of dust gets under a key >memetouch emojibar >no USB-A >no escape >soldered ram >soldered SSD >tamper tape on battery screws >applel falls for their own thin meme and uses 54WH battery >2 hour battery life
I'm taking the bait. Let's get started >Okay find me a better laptop that has a 2560x1600 retina display Retina is just a marketing term you fucking troglodyte. Many laptops these days have 4k screens which are much better than apple's (Dell XPS, HP Spectre) >512/1TB SSD HP Spectre has those two options along with 256GB and 360GB >over 9 hours of battery life Macs don't have 9 hour battery life. Once again a Spectre and XPS beats macbooks. >amazing build quality and customer support like Apple Not even going to touxh that part of the bait >precision touchpad This is fair, but trackpoints exist >and OS. Once again not touching this shit part of the bait.
Noah Jones
There really isn't anything comparable tbqh. Jow Forums is full of teenagers that just hate apple or non-programmers though so I don't think you'll get very far. Chromebooks are becoming an interesting platform for development though, I have a pixelbook and the native container support is interesting.
Christian Ross
BTFO
Daniel Roberts
Most of that list isn't even true anymore nor are some of the complaint all that important?
Bro, I really like my macbook air, but apple customer support is shit asf.
Jason Myers
just call it />Jow Forums thinks the Macbook Pro is overpriced Okay find me a better laptop general/ already.
Jason Anderson
The crumb problem is a design feature to piss off dumbasses who spill stuff on their computer. It becomes a free advertisement for mac.
Hudson Carter
nice bait
>customer support like Apple
top kek
Nicholas Walker
>It's this thread again
Ryan Perez
>I have a pixelbook and the native container support is interesting. What kind of things have you pulled off with it? I'm sticking to my Pixel LS for now, but would love not having to leave it in developer mode for work.
1560x1600 is overkill and a waste especially on any machine running macos. Apple is only able to survive because of their phones, laptops are just a sad proprietary byproduct.
>Jow Forums thinks the Macbook Pro is overpriced >Okay find me a better laptop It just needs to be equally good to compete
>2560x1600 retina display Waste of processing power
>512/1TB SSD In other laptops you can even replace the memory on your own!
>over 9 hours of battery life X220 + 94Wh battery gives the same for just about $250
>amazing build quality Okay, you may be right here. Although you sacrifice repairability, making it even more expensive in the long run
>customer support like Apple Gladly refuse that one.
>precision touchpad No trackpoint. Also: Implying there are no other manufacturers with good touchpads
>OS If you want a stylish and decent unix-like OS just use Ubuntu.
>Checkmate! $0.01 have been deposited in your iTunes Account
William Williams
>>amazing build quality >Okay, you may be right here. Mate, the latest macbook has the battery glued to the case and the keyboard dies if a speck of dust gets in.
Isaac Brown
I've had a late 2012 13" MBP be my daily driver for the past 6 years and it's still going strong. Apple are getting another $1000-2000 from me after they realise the touchbar is a fucking retarded design-choice.
Tyler Rodriguez
Well, there IS a class action about it. Plus the expensive repairs it require kinda raised waves. A good shill has to be aware of the environment he operates in.
Nolan Watson
user i just talked to God and he told me you're having problems at home.
Is that why you're being such a fucking faggot on the internet?
>how do we fix this? >a: i dont know, give him a new one/charge him half the price of a new one and give him a refurb >b: i don't know, i'm not trained for this device >c: maybe if you reset it
Nolan Phillips
>apple >consumer support R I V E T E D keyboard
Blake Jackson
Wanna know how I can tell you only started posting after 2013 ish?
Juan Perry
>amazing build quality Eh, sure >customer support like apple what, nice bait, cuck
