Okay find me a better laptop that has a 2560x1600 retina display, 512/1TB SSD, over 9 hours of battery life, amazing build quality and customer support like Apple, precision touchpad, and OS.

I have a 2016 MBP which I love but the part where your palm rests on the right side is clearly fading off and at the right angle it fucking looks like shit. It's pissing me off.

Find me literally any other "premium" laptop that requires a $600 repair after encountering a single spec of dust. Checkmate.

I have Apple hardware, and I can tell you pro customer support currently is SHIT, it wasn't always that way. Normal users have been cucked for years and last time you got some decent service from Apple as normal user was probably circa 2006.
Under pennypincher Tim Cook Apple has gone to utter shit, they even took Mac chime chips out of boards to save few pennies.

I bought a 2017 full spec, 15in MBP to use on deployments and I have had zero issues.
The laptop is great because not only does it do everything I need it to it doesn't take up a lot of space.
It's funny watching these other guys trying to fit those gaming monstrosities in their lockers
It doesn't hold a candle to my desktop back at home but after using both windows and Mac OS for substantial periods of time I can see why people like Mac OS so much.
My take on the keyboards is that the only time you really post online about something is if it breaks so all these keyboard problems you see are from those people but nobody takes into account the thousands of others that have no issues.
