budget?
prefered sound signature?
i use swing IE800. not the most durable but the sound quality is great, doesn't tangle easily.
>budget
between $0-80, willing to spend higher
>preferred sound signature
all-around high quality
apple earpods are unironically solid
boar semen CX98 or Tin T2
this, theres no other choice user
they don't fit right in my ear or are comfortable ;_;

You can sleep with them and replace their cables in case it breaks.
>we can only show prices to members
can someone just give me a good recommendation via Amazon or eBay
sennheiser hd800 with a schiit amp
Kz zs5, tenmak pros, tin t2
OnePlus bullets wireless
there is a constant 24/7 g.eneral for this. There also /sqt/... however I recommend this.
amazon.com
I upgraded to Momentum II. But CX300 are nice and are currently cheap. There is always better alternatives though.
Thanks for the great reply.
I like the tenmak pro earbuds a lot.
I'll look into them.

Pick your poison.
If i was you i would go for the ones with removable cables. Most of the time earbuds break it is the cable.
KZ ATE
Hello fags please help me
I need new iem, because my soundmagic e10 died of calbe break. They were recommended to me as a "hidden hifi budget iem" but honestly i wasnt pleased with them, the bass was somezimes really good and on point but otherwise they sounded just Average.
>they didnt have the WOW effect that i expected as a hifi recommendation
I ordered xiaomi hybrids but i want to try out more
I heared that the kz zs3, ate, ath im50and yersen fen2000 are good for my usecase but are they really a upgrade to the sm e10?
>i want headphones that sound "clear" and "juicy" and give that wow effect
I mostly hear hip hop/rap but also metal/rock, electro and sometimes pop
Right now on my htc one m8 but i will upgrade soon to maybe a lg g7 or v40 or something with good audio
Tenmak pros are what you looking for
>cheap ones are breaking
Not even memeing get airpods or wait for a good airpod competitor to drop. No cable = no break.
Not a meme at this point
Apple earpods used to be dogshit but there respectable now, at least they are comfortable
If you can pick up discounted Sony wf-1000x I recommend those
Airpods have been released over a year ago yet there are no good alteratives to it what the fuck is going on?
No clue. That shit could be a goldmine for competent companies though. Using airpods is comfy as fuck. I'd test them out somewhere beforehand though. Mine fit really well, even a full blizzard doesn't get them out of my ears, but for some people they're really loose.
I have these ones, they're bretty gud for just 25$
Tin Audio T2s
If you're breaking your earphones then stay away from chink shit. It takes too long to ship and they're swindling money out of you. Get something with replaceable cables
what do you think of the Shure 215?
yep these. they are 50 dollars BUT ARE THE BEST - cable is removable - they will last you years
Trust me user i have been browsing /csg/ for years - my previous bang for buck iems
phillips SHE3590 (discontinued)
kz-ate ( cheap but treble cannons)
ksz5 mk1 (dsicontinued lost)
bgvp sdg - dn1 ( great survived 1.5 years now my BT buds)
tin audio t2 (impressive been waiting my whole life for these)
heres mine pushing 5.6mhz DSD master tape rips
Not OP but I'm liking the look of these tin audio things, the only thing that's confusing me is that the right/left orientation seems mirrored in the product photo. Red is right ear so it should go over your ear from the front, correct? They look oriented correctly in this photo I had those years ago and hated them immensely. Could never get the cables to go over my ears properly, cable was way too long, extremely stiff, and prone to microphonics even with over-ear setup, and sound was extremely bassy and muddy.
You can change which color is for which ear depending on whether you want to wear them straight down or over the ear.
Default is for over the ear, swapped is straight down.
I just realized you can just swap the cables. Looks like a good form factor, I'll probably pick up a pair thanks to your shining recommendations
But doesnt your music play upside down? That probably sounds awful over ear.
i chuckled
Kek
$5 bucks with HiFi sound.
If you're going to pick them up, I'd also recommend you use the memory foam tips they come with rather than the silicone as well as seal the bass vents to really make them punchy.
I'll experiment with them when I get them. I haven't used IEMs in a long time since my portable player died and none of the iems I got after my vsonic GR07 mk2s broke could compare to them favorably.
Kz Zs3 or rock zircon
You can get sennheiser ie80 for 200$ on amazon. I sent mine in for a warranty because I accidently crushed one of the ear pieces and they sent me a new ie 80 which is 350$ on amazon.
New ie80s* instead of ie80. The original ie80 sounded better but my ie80s are new so haven't had time to burn in
Kz zs6 hands down
VE Monk +
OneMore triple driver
OnePlus Bullets V2. Had the V1s, which wore out from daily use from 2 years and keeping them rolled up in my pants pocket. Read some reviews.
i gotta say i love the fact tin t2 can just be worn plain straight down. over ear was an asian thing that got memed too hard, looks good but was awkward and always wore out cables at the mmcx connector IMHO
Shure SE215
anything else in this price range is a meme
Not in ears
the applel ipods have the best design idea.
sadly theyre applel
i got these a month ago and already need to replace the cord. is it possible to get a less crappy version of this cable
Thanks, think i'll be picking these up. Look very solid.
I got the ZhiYin Z5000 instead, they are smaller.
>tin t2
enjoy your no-bass
>Tin Audio T2s
Aka no-bass shitphones
If you seal the bass vents, they have plenty of bass
