Did you put the HRT 2 logo there yourself, or has our national TV changed a lot since I last watched it?

Was it easy to replace the parts in that HP workstation tower? Guessing that most was ATX standard.

You need to get a lot better at advertising your shitty, over sugared garbage of a drink,.That only works on r*ddit...oh wait, nevermind this whole fucking board is basically r*ddit now.
fuck this place, im out to make my own imageboard.

They are pretty old, I was just thinking about that today. Built the microatx box in December 2011. Upgraded to a 750ti a few years ago but its just a DK1. Want to freelance and upgrade hard.

Attached: 20180529_133545.jpg (4032x3024, 3.5M)

Interesting, hope it works out for you, but im still puzzled why youd get the vr before being able to use it?
I mean im getting tempted to buy one fresh myself but Im on 960 and id have to upgrade to use it.

What PSU is that?

Label looks like either a CWT or a Delta.

Because I've been waiting and preparing for tech like this to develop on since high school, and it's fairly usable user, at least for looking at my 3D models in opensimulator. Might upgrade to a low profile 1050 and a Vive and see how that goes before I take the plunge and
build a new box entirely.

Good eye! It actually is a CWT.

looks pretty good other than the 2 sets of cheap speakers
the RGB is making my eyes bleed but pretty nice otherwise
wires could do with tidying up
christ
looks functional
cute headphone stand
very nice
speakers/k-on set are great. I found the linnmon desks to be way too shaky

Sorry to have worked you up so much, user. The can of coke was just for laughs. In my previous image I used a 2L of mountain dew.

>Good eye! It actually is a CWT.
Nice to hear!

CWT made some decent units, even in their low end line (ISO). I actually owned one made from parts and it did its labeled rating - 350W.

I sold it and bought a Delta though, since that one lacked 24pin. It does quite smell of cigarette smoke but at least I cleaned it and it works. I can live with it, even if I'm not a smoker myself.

Oh, and for a fact this is my stash of stuff.

Wait till you see the closet hehe

what keyboard?

tfw I have the exact same mb box as top left since childhood

>tfw I actually have the motherboard that came with it (ECS K7VZA) and it works
Had to replace blown caps but it was fun and in the end I made a quite decent Duron 1GHz/Voodoo 3 machine.

on a scale of basic soldering skills to autistic aviation knowledge how hard would it be to build something like the dji spark? id really like a drone to do videos of me while at the range but i dont want to spend $400 on a flying camera when i could use that for more ammo/maybe a can eventually.

hey i have that same wp in my rotation.
i like your keyboard too.

>sexually repressed country boy with his own furry porn forum servers
yea that fits.

Thank.

Yeah this desk is a little shaky but it's fine for the price lmao.

suspiciously slav looking furniture etc

>suspiciously slav looking furniture etc
but i am slav

hell yes

Hello again friends. I've had a bit of an upgrade, can you guess what?
Yours is still my favourite, but I've no idea how you use it.

Attached: thisismycomputerdesk2.jpg (3024x2268, 1.29M)

same here, that's where I get my keen slavdar from

We have a thread on /diy/ if you want to get into deeper discussion;

But the tl;dr is that you simply cannot DIY something comparable to a Spark/Mavic/Phantom, even if you spent considerably *more* money than on a Spark/Mavic/Phantom. And lot of what makes them so good is nothing to do with the hardware/assembly, it's the software/control side of things & how well it's integrated with their hardware & this is something that simply does not have a DIY/FLOSS alternative.

I've built all sorts of flying stuff but I actually bought a Spark & use an Inspire at work because you just can't build something like that yourself.

Attached: IMG_20180201_190312.jpg (673x897, 146K)

What keyboard?

Can you move your chairs on this shaggy carpet?

Attached: battlestation.png (1080x1920, 2.06M)

You're fucking joking right?

Hahaha wow

>tfw can only afford one monitor at a time so I will always have two different brands of monitors

It's so unaesthetic it hurts.

Attached: 1504822820811.jpg (1280x720, 52K)

Or you could, you know, buy the same monitor.

but I just bought this new dell monitor and by the time I can buy it again it will be out of stock and they'll have updated the model

>this is something that simply does not have a DIY/FLOSS alternative.
isn't there something being worked on in this niche, stuff like the OpenUAV faggots for example?

Attached: PC Setup.png (2048x1536, 3.62M)

why did you delete the one before other than make the file bigger to waste peoples bandwidth

had a bunch of usernames not blurred

they werent readable to begin with

what, did somebody jack his shit?

i can still see the old one with 4chanx though

Sup

hey guys what's your video card setup for 3 monitors?

not them but i use a asus strix geforce gtx 1060 6gb oc. you dont need anything special for that

A 1070. Runs under 60

Ebay or refurbished models. Old shit is everywherem, even on newegg/amazon.

It's a bit like trying to build your own smartphone - yes, you *could* buy all the constituent components from Shenzhen markets, cobble them together then try to build Android for it, but it would never be even remotely as small, sleek, well integrated, etc. as an iPhone or Pixel.

The 'OpenUAV' scene would be something like ArduPilot, which is focussed on flexibility, expandability, etc. rather than on trying to make a sleek turnkey commercial product. Picrelated is the ArduPilot quad I'm currently rebuilding & fairly diagnostic of the scene - it's physical size/power is similar to that of a DJI Inspire, but the user experience is completely different.

nice wall art (unsarcastically)

ye-
>modern consoles
nah

agreed with that (standard economies of scale, product dev etc concerns, picrel), but you claimed
>lot of what makes them so good is nothing to do with the hardware/assembly, it's the software/control side of things & how well it's integrated with their hardware & this is something that simply does not have a DIY/FLOSS alternative.
