Other than games, I don't understand why anyone would use Windows. Linux works great for desktop computing, and even mobile computing on x86 tablets like a Surface Pro. It's stupid easy to install and use, while offering decent security and stability with a wide variety of tools and other applications. OpenSUSE is what I use because they patch the Firefox file picker bullshit out of the box. I can to all of my web browsing, emails, shitposting, programming, and movie watching on my Linux machines, and they just work. No forced reboots, no BSODs, no Windows rot over time. It's genuinely a good experience. And if I want some games I can just go in the living room and turn on the PS4 in there. The PS4 is like half the cost of gayming PC and it isolates the non-free botnet in one room on one device.

Agreed user. I have a similiar setup, I use GNU / Linux for pretty much everything except gayming, which I also do on a ps4 in another room. There is honestly no excuses for using windoze if you are aware that GNU/Linux exists. The only con I can think of is that some software/games are windows only, but thats irrelevant as their are usually free alternatives that are just as good or better.
