Spoonfeed me why this shit is better than signal that I pressured my fitness into using successfully. Is it normie friendly?

>signal

Compare it to Matrix, not Signal.

#general:banter.city is great

Bump.
Come shitpost with us on our based XMPP server.

because it's a decentralized protocol and not some hipster (((((app))))).
Why do people keep confusing protocols with apps? It's retarded as fuck.

>not encrypted

honeypot

>[email protected]

This is harvesting IP address and the chat is purposely unencrypted.

Oh no, what are you going to do with my ip? Ping me?

Not falling for your daily honeypot, user.

Your chat is suspect as fuck.

Are there any non-shit XMPP clients?

Gajim is a fucking abortion that is completely lacking in essential features such as "knowing when you are offline", "automatic reconnect" and "being able to fucking drag and drop from the chat window into a browser".
Also, fuck the "click on task bar icon to close main window" shit.

Pidgin is a castrated piece of shit that still doesn't support message carbons.

Astrachat is a nice client but it also doesn't support message carbons.

Xabber seems to be using some kind of wonky codebase that forces it to create a persistent notification to prevent Android from closing the process.

I want message carbons. I'm about to add encryption and file transfers to my server. I use XMPP with multiple devices.
What are good choices?

Matrix is far superior

Conversations

Conversations and it's fork, Pix-art are both fine. Did you leave them out intentionally

>webrtc
