The battle have just started. But yeah lets hope GitLab wins.

Where? In macbook keyboards? Because that will literally break them.

FUCK OFF

LOL

Based GitLab

Gitlab is a slow, bloated piece of shit that is not real open source (it's crippleware of their enterprise edition).

Use Gitea.

MACTODDLERS BTFO

So when you check the date you want to make sure of the month or the year? When I check the date I want to know the day. I can easily remember the month and the year.

GitLab is slow as molasses. I don't think any of you have actually used it.

Reminder that self hosting gitlab is just as bad except you're wasting your own cycles to avoid nothing
Reminder that Gitea is chink shit and automatically cannot be trusted

Its either this or bitbucket for private repositories and teams.

Gotta admit, the jews at gitlab smelled an opportunity and took it

What's your unironic alternative, then?

>Not using sourceforge

Lol you guys probably use a gui ide instead of Emacs too.

>sharing your code with others

I bet you send pictures of yourself with an iphone.

isn't this another evil?

N-no

Sent from my iPhone.

>be you
>be still in highschool
>be unable code for shit
>be uneducated about significance or endianness
>be happily larpin' on Jow Forums in a git thread.

The greatest practical significance in a date is the day unless you're specifically sorting a list of dates. Asking what second it is for the time is the same as asking what year it is for the date. You shouldn't be asking either of these questions often.

t. microshill

bitbucket, no seriously other wise just dont host your code.

Git and ssh and/or its simple servers probably do everything you want it to
If you have a big team working on something with pull requests and shit and you've been put in charge of setting up a github-like solution then pick one at random and tell your boss they're harvesting everything about your operation so it's their problem.

>want to know how much change to pay with
>oh no it's at the right, I need to invert the entire price number just to read it

After thinking more, I have less good arguments than I thought for the day coming first other than to match the practical use order of number and time. Maybe that's the only argument for it.

gitlab is a piece of shit
I was trying to login to my account the other day, and it kept failing saying the password is wrong
so I send reset instruction to my email, but it never came
so I used the support contact form to explain the situation, but all it did was echo my message to my email, the support doesn't even exist
faggots

you are literally retarded, my man.

Wow, how'll Github ever recover?

Lol can't wait for the SJW's to hop on and complain about codesplaining.

Quick somebody tell me can I have private repositories on Gitlab on the free tier? If yes I will migrate literally today.

You can just run it on your own server.

No, use gitgud.

Last I checked, yes.

Thanks my dudes.

:^)

Yea well what is the point of going to a beautiful vacation spot if you can just lounge around your house?
What's the point of eating a delicious steak dinner if you can just fill up on beans and potatoes, I mean at the end of the day it gets the job done.
Why do people even buy fancy cars if a geo metro will get them where they're going?

> GitLab won
> shows chart with a surge to 2.5k repo imports
> meanwhile Github still has over 67 million repos

'won'

I don't think microsoft will do anything too retarded right off the bat because several of the projects in github are actively used by large corporations and they don't want to get their asses rammed by those large corporations.
I think they will start with a silent data mining operation to sell stuff to data brokers and maybe use the site to get good programmers before the others can find em.

> meanwhile Github still has over 67 million repos

60million of them are probably javascript libraries.

Yeah well... shut up!

github.com/jonschlinkert/is-odd/blob/master/index.js

So?
