That's the nature of satellite sadly
Major remote users in my country now mostly use mobile network as it is cheaper and faster, even ping is lower
Even though carriers are evil and jew

Not that user, but i bought a 1080 and a 1600 for GAYMEN and some light video editing. along with ram, it runs everything like a dream. no complaints, and i got the 1700x cooler from a friend so it never gets above 50 C thanks to how beefy the 1080 is. good bang4buck

Attached: htpc.jpg (1229x813, 102K)

I would buy a cheap fan and find some way to mount it to blow air through your drive bay, seagates do run hot af, I have a single 5900RPM 1TB and it's running at 36C. in a case with one exhaust fan on the rear.

Might as well do the speccy as well.

Its a small mATX case. The big drives are known to run hot, but not that hot.

They're still pretty hot though, mine is two platters in a regular ATX case and its warm as hell, I back it up every once in a while because it's a 10yo drive and the seagate LP drives were known to fail.

>Performs like intel core 2 duo E6400 on passmark
>Uses 32 times less power
Cherry trail a cute.

Why's it so hot for such a low power CPU?

no cooling

It's probably an extremely low power netbook with passive cooling, which is cool because it can be dead silent while it's being used.

are Atom procs finally able to outrun P4's or PentD's?

Oh ok that makes sense

It's performing as well as a 65nm core 2 duo, which is impressive for a 2w TDP, those were pretty high end 65w processors in 2006.

that's sick

Neat. I'm still running a Llano quad core laptop, I might end up "upgrading" just to have fanless operation and longer battery life in the same performance bracket.

I've always been skeptical of them. I have an old ass N450 in my netbook and I tried to run a few games on MAME and the shit stuttered like crazy. Oddly, Quake3 ran butter smooth on the same machine. My wife's Toshiba Encore 2 tablet has a quad core Atom Z3735G and it seemed peppy but I'm still wary of those things.

Didn't Intel rebrand them as Pentium processors?

related, since we're speccying.

I don't feel like upgrading anytime soon.

>tfw mine used to idle at yours
the temps raised a lot by adding the 8tb disc. If there is no fan moving, these are my temps, but when I have 5 fans at somehow high speeds, this will idle at 50 for CPU and 40 or lower on the rest
it's gonna be a hot summer

That TN 4k panel though, what a waste

It was $250 on Black Friday.

No regrets. Got two of em, but can't find a monitor arm that can support all three monitors so my 3rd currently isn'tplugged in.

But why the Titan though?

I was in the market for a 1080ti during the mining bullshit back in January.

Prices were literally higher on 1080ti's on newegg and amazon than a Star Wars edition titan xp.

Nice, but don't the blowers fans cap its performance?

the extra cuda cores and 1GB ram make up for it.

he's running an ancient version of speccy, who cares. I don't auto-update anything anyways for reason like buyouts and auto-install malware

This is my on-the-go pc, I can fit it all in one compartment of my backpack.

Someone said that it would thermal throttle, and it does, but not because it's in a small case. it's just that the card's cooler is poorly designed, it cools identically with the panels off or in my standard tower setup. Never drops below 1500mhz tho, just gets super loud cause it's only got one fan. But I'm fixing that soon anyway with a better-designed card.

Attached: Speccyi7-7700+Gigabyte1070.png (799x653, 158K)

any chance you can take a pic of your box? i'm really curious about building a small box like that for portable work my laptop can't handle.
i always wanted a fury nano to build something like that, these fuckhuge GPUs nowadays aren't convenient to put in small cases

here's a shot of my case, that's a 1070 strix card on top of it.

Someone called me an intel shill in the last thread I posted this in because I said I was gonna upgrade to an 8th gen i7, but if ryzen can get it's TDP down to like 70 watts and also have a board manufacturer add thunderbolt 3 ports straight on the itx motherboards, I'd switch over. But they don't have any yet, so intel is it for now.

here ya go. case is one of NFC's Skyreach 4 Mini.

An R9 nano would still preform admirably imo, but if you want more power you will have to wait for the itx-sized cards AMD is putting out, they have prototypes for Vega56/64 Nano cards and they look to be in the process of getting it to market now.
