I think it may handle the next iOS, but that's it (because of the godly A7 chip). The problem with the 5S is RAM, it's only 1GB of DDR2. Since mobile OSes are all about adding a shitton of "features", it just won't work on that amount of RAM.

The iPhone 6 and 6+ are also fucked since they also have just 1GB of RAM.

The 6S will probably last forever tho... 2GB of RAM + A9 can handle a lot.
