Install gtk themes. Of course you have GTK installed if you have gimp and other gui programs. It's either GTK or Qt.

Good choice of vm. :) I use it on both my laptop ad desktop.

the benefit is "getting to handpick each and every package and feature to fit your needs" but it's ultimately inconsequential imo (i'm not the guy who posted originally)

I've been using this Jow Forums.css for more than a year now, really liked it so far (changed the colorscheme once though).
But since I use tree-style tabs and triple-columns layouts, the mascot takes too much space and makes it unusable. I should modify it and find some way to hide the mascot (and span the posts on the entire width) in pure css. Is that possible ? Also how invasive would that be ?

Nano is enough for me now. It works great, it's easy, it's friendly, I can use it for compiling pdflatex documents, taking notes on it is a pleasure. I see no reason to learn another program right now.
