>In order to be eligible to win any prize, potential winners who are Canadian residents must correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question as posed by Sponsor.
wut, and why does this only apply to syrup niggers

>The combined effect of Sections 197 to 206 of the Canadian Criminal Code bans for-profit gaming or betting, with exceptions made for provincial lotteries, licensed casinos, and charity events. Many stores, radio stations, and other groups still wish to hold contests to encourage more purchases or increase consumer interest. These organizations take advantage of the fact that the law does allow prizes to be given for games of skill, or mixed games of skill and chance. To make the chance-based contests legal, such games generally consist of a mathematical STQ.

Most of them are BEDMAS level bullshit

That reminds me... as an American I would have to pay taxes on it haha

They announced a 28 core CPU @ 5ghz

dios mio

Attached: 1454140123431.jpg (853x480, 190K)

Motherboard will cost 1000 dollars

CPU at least 4000 ( 50% more cores is always a doubling of the previous model )

Power supply 1600-2000W requirement

Cooling ~1500+

Attached: 7980xeCooling.jpg (960x1280, 174K)

>5GHz
>4.6GHz all-core turbo

Attached: look out sneed.jpg (1433x1056, 414K)

Yes. Curious to know if it's from the top 1% or top 10%. Coffeelake can reach 5.5ghz with the right set up.

CPU is $400 msrp

>Limited edition
As in some press reporters will get it

>Intel getting away with releasing NEW products with old vulnerabilities like meltdown

AAHHHHHHHHHAAHHAAAAAAAAAAAA

I fucking knew it. Gratz on your shit lived win AMD. You will always be playing second to Intel.

If you're not the one who needs a 10 core processor don't buy one

I think he refers to the 28 core cpu, that will definitely nit be sold for 400$.

Also i thought the 6 core chip should be closer to 500 then to 400$

the anniversary chip is gonna be around 400

>soldered
>intel

1000w power usage

cool, so you need to buy 2 psu now, right? +1000w for cpu alone and another 500-600w for rest of the system.

so israel's plan to cause mass droughts in all surrounding countries is coming to fruition

Where's the 8-core Coffee Lake?

That's where the shekels are at

If it crushes the 2700 then AyyMD is done for

It's a feature, goy

real world? like gaymen?

fuck, a 16-core OCed at 4.6 already at 485 watts.

The 8700k already crushing 2700

>amd has a $500 CPU
oh well it's just a bargain for what you get
>intel has one

O-on a single core!? H-how is this even possible? I trusted you Keller...

Attached: 1528204956051.png (1300x599, 312K)

I'm not sure my shitty power strip can handle another 2000 watts. Any recommendations Jow Forums?

Actually impressive.

8 core mainstream chips are like 6 months away.

Why should we care about another $10000 intel CPU ?

antisemite

I see ARM making VERY big performance improvements every year. How long will it take to reach Intel or AMD performance?

wccftech.com/arms-cortex-a76-cpu-will-clock-at-3-3ghz-with-a-35-power-boost-and-33-ipc-gain-as-company-directly-targets-intel/

next week

>Where's the 8-core Coffee Lake?
The very first hint of an octa-core Coffee Lake was only a few months ago, and that was early test silicon running at 2.2GHz. It isn't coming any time soon.

wire that bich directly into the grid

Nice, now we all have to invite the IAEA and the UN to our houses when we take delivery of it

You know how that ended last time it happened

Attached: 1525784595046.png (316x400, 112K)

According to Silicon Lottery, 88% of their tested 8700K's could OC to 5Ghz, so the yields shouldn't be that bad.
Also they sell it for 430 burgers as well, so it's pretty much the same offer. Except the ones from SL have been delidded as well.

>Mike Filippo also expects that the Cortex A76 will match Intel Core i5-7300 in performance terms and can also match the higher end Core i7 if equipped with more cache.

On what workloads?

Around the end of Q3 according to Intel's roadmap. Also I hope you're ready for Z390 motherboards, goy. That's the only way to use these bad boys.

>6 cores
>$500
good goy

>Boss no one is buying these chips
>Especially after we had to rollout firmware patches gimping performance by as much as 50%
Just rebrand them as limited edition
>Bob you are a genius!

That's cute, shills trying a new bred because they're on the losing side on the original one.

This thread is older, you illterate drone.

you'll never see 5ghz single core turbo just like you'll never see 4.7 on an 8700k

Seething intlel faggot kike.

Big think

>unplugged atx power port
>retarded layout
>vrm fans
This has to be an engineering prototype.
That can't be the real thing.
>inb4 that's the real board and will be sold to consumers in that state

How the fuck ELSE do you cool a fucking 28 core bingbus oven heating element running at 5GHz. Fun fact: the hoses in the red circle? Running to a compressor.

Intel are running scared.

Attached: De2z_VHU8AAx6B2[1].jpg (1200x1200, 229K)

Attached: 1504136747594.png (1692x854, 1.65M)

Probably has to be cooled in oil.

i was told by a reputable source that intel is god tier and amd is for old people.
i'm glad it was good info.
the thought of having to buy ryzen made me nauseous. like, where am i supposed to put that many cores? i only have one bedroom.

>those poorly concealed pipes, on the bottom right corner, coming out the back to a compressor to chill the liquid cooling the aberration
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Attached: meanwhile at intel HQ.png (1452x892, 1.28M)

>a 2,000+ dollar bingbus housefire
oh jesus christ

This isn't even a joke anymore at this point, this thing is legitimately going to burn down houses if not city blocks. You might have to buy a license from your local power company in order to own one as well as being trained by the local fire department.

Attached: 7999ceead3c47f872878ffc408b76410.jpg (800x800, 121K)

This probably uses the mesh aka bingbug of bingbuses design.

So even less scalable and higher in power consumption

The motherboard VRM has 8 fans.

It appears to also have 4 eight pin connectors and 2 six pin connectors

Isn't this good news? AMD may release then a 32 cores thread ripper.

Which would mean 8 cores per CCX. Which would result on a 16 core R7 3700.

AMD was essentially planning on that anyway, if not threadripper than that other higher line they were planning. This release won't actually inspire any competition, to me it seems like it's most likely going to be a paper launch so intel can stay at the top of scoreboards. It's scary to think this might actually be in the hand of consumers though.

PRE-ORDERED!

what the fuck is with this stupid fucking naming scheme?

So i don't really care about a big numbers processor i'd never use. Did Intel announce anything good on the mobile end?
