This is a brand new panel using 384 zone FALD (full array local dimming).
The haloing is due to the fact the FALD LEDs simply can't turn on and off fast enough and so you get shitty looking images.
I feel most people will turn the HDR off on these panels (which in turn disables the FALD)
Lower brightness, and lower contrast ratio, but no shitty haloing and horrible edge bleed (or at least reduced edge bleed)
