Has anyone ever actually bought a WinRAR license
Has anyone ever actually bought a WinRAR license
Your boss. Because everyone is used to it while free for individuals; but companies need to pay for it. That's their business model
I use 7Zip.

>implying companies don't steal software frequently
.rar is a bit better than .zip tho.
Yeah, Nah
No but I have a lifetime PowerArchiver license.
I ask the same question about mIRC
Nope, companies use 7zip
>le winrar licence meme
Hi summer plebbit child, fuck off. WinRAR is a proprietary botnet.
>software you pay for is proprietary!!!
Are you going to tell me water is wet next?
Both the companies I've worked for use WinZip. One has 10,000+ computers, the other has around 3,000 I think
I've only ever seen a non-zip archive once in a work environment and it was some madman in another company who emailed me a .7z
Are companies allergic to open source software or is it just an inside job by someone in the IT department to waste company finances?
Hahaa was just about to say this.
>using deprecated software
>toms hardware
>2013
7zip > winrar
and if you need something identical to winrar use easy 7zip
