Should i but the op6 or the pixle if they cost the same?

>release phone without headphone jack
>later down the line release a headphone jack accessory
>profit from both

What is this, 1994?

>tfw I bought the 2/16GB Redmeme Note 3 Pro a year and a half ago
>tfw I regret it
I should've dished out those extra buckerinos for the 3GB model

I think my 5X is shitting the bed. Rebooted itself like 15 times today. I can trade it in to Google directly for around $100 credit. Do I use that and put it towards a Moto X4, Moto G6 or wait and save my shekels for something better and hope the 5X doesn't just die out of nowhere? With the credit the X4 would be $150 and the G6 $100.

Forgot to add I'm on Project Fi so my selection is pretty limited.

I didn't even know there was a 2gb version. Mine sometimes reachs the max out of these 3gb.

can't you bring your own phone to that?

welcome to my life, goddamn

it has to last just a few more months, then I'm going for the OP6

Disappointed in Xiaomi desu

Attached: unnamed.png (1080x1920, 98K)

Pixel if it's the same
Otherwise OP is just a no brainer in its price point

One phones that are approved through google can use the service. The Pixels, Nexus, Moto X4 and G6 and the newest LG ThinQ phones can use the service.

>Disappointed in Xiaomi desu
You should've been disappointed in your decision as a buyer.
gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=8959&idPhone2=8893
Why couldn't you have waited for these? And you even admitted it was your fault.

og pixlel or pixlel 2?

>Why couldn't you have waited for these
Durr, those came out in 2018, I bought this thing back in 2016
and it's not just the lack of ram, I realize that's my fault.

I already had to replace the battery once, because the original one shit the bed along with the USB daughterboard.
That I find to be unacceptable for a phone that's under 2 years old.

Attached: file.png (451x37, 2K)

man, you yanks have one hell of an abusive relationship with your carriers

>s...sorry master google, I promise I'll bring a phone that you approve of

Get rid of the 5X as soon as you can, it's a ticking time bomb. Out of those two the X4 is the better option.

It was obviously a low end device and still is. What did you expect? It isn't the case anymore for many "budget" devices nowadays.

Yeah it sucks but I pay pennies compared to what I'd pay at one of the major carriers.

I have had it for 2 years at this point, I am honestly surprised I haven't bootlooped yet. I was leaning towards the X4. Thanks for the advice.

>Have enough money to buy whatever phone I want in cash no big deal
>Buy one of these
Don't waste your money on expensive phones. They are all chinky. I got this for $99.39, though it hasn't arrived yet.

Attached: l2.jpg (750x1000, 296K)

what did I expect?
For the battery and USB port to last two damn years at least.

FFS my HTC Wildfire from 2010 still charges and works. Whereas my RN3P's USB port shit the bed a bit over a year (a few months ago)

enjoy you're spyware

My galaxy s5 usb port broke so i had to get a new one quick. Got me an s9. Its nice but i swear either the touch screen is a piece of shit or my phone case is shit because texting is a nightmare right now constantly hitting the wrong button or the screen jusy being unresposive at times.

I have a lifeproof case which does the job at protecting my phone but screen accuracy is shite

does the case have a built in screen protector?

>he thinks his 100000$ iPixel Note V30 X has no spyware

I use a flip phone :^)

I'm interested in the original Pixel because it's so cheap now but what are the chances it has Google botnet at the hardware level?

101%

Just a few threads back, someone reported his S8 not surviving a fall on linoleum even with a case (screen edge got shattered). Good luck.

>Current phone : Nexus 5 (2013)
>Phones I like this year : literally only Nokia 7 plus
Should I wait for one more year before I upgrade?

O N E P L U S 6

Thats why i got it yeah. Bear in mind the case for my s5 did as well. It was an otterbox tho. Didnt have nearly as much trouble with the protector. Probably because the one for my phone seems to have a subtle gap between the protector and the screen. Also fuck the curved edges why the fucl is it a thing

erm... did you try typing without the case?

also why get the S9 if you hate the curves

its 520 euro for the smaller version and it has a N O T C H
WTF is going on???

I rarely drop my phone so i should be good. My s5 was cracked for a year because my fat ass accidentlly stepped on it in the dark after taking a shit.

more or less the same specs as phones double the price

>stepped on it in the dark after taking a shit
what
where the fuck did you place your phone

A1 Pro buyer here. I've owned a few UMIDIGI phones over the years. Any genuine malware can be removed, and you should have no expectations of privacy on Android.

The case is a bitch to open. I dont know what black magic the guy thy sold it to me used to open the damn thing.

I didnt think the curved screen was an issue before i got it. Might just just be the shitty protector i have. Gonna go back tommorow and return it for new one

This isn't paranoia and there is no reason for implying implications when some of these have been reverse engineered. And your Umidigi device doesn't have an unlockable bootloader, where as Xiaomi's phones without Mediatek SoCs do. You didn't think this through.

>Any genuine malware can be removed
hahahahahahahahahahaha

Attached: TaTdV.gif (200x150, 1.65M)

I can literally buy the S9 for 560 eur which is 7 % more and I dislike both

>Any genuine malware can be removed
If by that you mean malware which placebo apps on the Play Store recognize as so, then sure.
>and you should have no expectations of privacy on Android
Of course not of full privacy and of course not on OEM firmwares. At least something can be done on Android devices with unlockable bootloaders

I listen to asmr videos when i sleep. I used to have it plugged in charging and with my earphones in. One day i had a massive urge to shit and i ran to the shitter knocked and over my phone with the cable. When i came back i forgot i left the phone on the floor and the rest is history

but then you have to deal with Samsung's skin

and I'd rather hang myself

I'm infosec and have done forensics on their various devices. This is my research conclusion:

UMI Diamond - Has custom 7.1.2 ROM available. No need to worry. This is the only phone that has had intentional malware placement.

UMIDIGI C NOTE 2: No malware. Bloatware is removable with root.

UMIDIGI S2 Pro: One of the stock apps was found to be malicious and removed from later ROM updates.

HF with the MediaTek hardware level spyware

I'm a pentester and this is my research conclusion:
>Umidigi devices don't have capabilities of data mining through pre-installed system software.
Look, no one with a touch of common sense would take this as fact.
Buy a device which has an unlockable bootloader and good custom ROM support, done.

which pens do you find perform the best on smooth surfaces?

>good custom ROM support
oh yes trusting Muhammt Pajeetturd is much better than trusting Ching Chong Ping Pong

>that bb curve was the sheeeeeott
How I wish to go back...

Install lineage

wait is it possible to have LOS on the S9?

*laughs at notchlets*

>oh yes trusting Muhammt Pajeetturd is much better than trusting Ching Chong Ping Pong
Take this embarrassment back to Jow Forums and leave it there.

>tfw manlet hands
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WHY CAN'T IT BE G3 SIZED

nice 81% screen to body ratio, cuck

also nice retarded name

>implying most custom ROMs aren't made by pajeets

>The iPhone X's screen-to-body ratio is 82%.
>High screen-to-body ratio (83.81 %) (One Plus 6)
>Pixel 2 XL - 6-inch 18:9 P-OLED, 2560 x 1440 pixels (538 ppi), 76.4% screen-to-body ratio
What?

Anything below 83% is garbage

Anything below 85 % is garbage

which phones are above 85%?

You can imply anything you like, it wouldn't make it become true all of a sudden. And why does the nationality of developers even matter?

Is Xiaomi's MIUI any good?

I'm getting a Note 5 pro delivered and it's my first chinkphone since a really old Moto G.

Should I put something like LineageOS onto it once I get it?

>Xiaomi's MIUI
no

>Should I put something like LineageOS onto it once I get it?
yes

>And why does the nationality of developers even matter
pajeets are no more trustworthy than chinks

at least the chinks are semi-compitent

getting a moto g6 tomorrow. what am I in for?

Attached: alexjones emoji.png (568x442, 217K)

MIUI is good if you like the iOS style launcher (no drawer, icon groups), it has very good battery life because it's fairly aggressive at keeping background noise low. I've come to prefer it, but it's not for everyone.

If you want a google-like experience get AospExtended / AEX, it seems to be better organized than lineageos

>because it's fairly aggressive at keeping background noise low
by that he means MIUI will close your apps in the background and because of that you won't get notifications :)

anything below 87 % is garbage

anything below 99% is trash and should be purged

How did you determine this? I don't think it would even be possible to begin with. Custom ROMs are open source, except the OEM firmware based ones, meaning that you can easily aid the developers (that you may feel are incompetent in an area).

I'd rather not pull any pajeet code onto my computer lest it gets infected with some obscure disease

And we're back to mild to moderate racial slurs all of a sudden. At least have enough decency to sage when you're doing this.

Yes (if you have the exinos version)

I have the same phone, lineage is somewhat better than miui

I'm not on MIUI, this is AEX, which I regret switching to.

Will go back to Pixel Experience, that one was the most bearable.

I think you're impersonating me, eerie stuff, same phone, same variant, bought same year, changed both the microusb port and the battery.

I feels you brah.

>tfw replacement battery is already starting to not last as long
*sigh*

Bootloop

Why would anyone buy a Pixel? If I wanted a vanilla Android phone I'd just get the latest Galaxy and put CM/Lineage on it.

how do i get my pleb gf off the iphone train? i want her to experience android.

she doesn't care and you can't make her care

>experience android
oh yes...
>No updates
>lag
>fragmentation
>worse overall support
what's not to love

I dont want her to spend 2k on an iphone x because shes an itoddler.

who gives a fuck, it's her money, let her do with it what she wishes.

are you really that much of a turbonerd that the mere presence of an iPhone triggers you?

Will the LG v35 support Treble?

Attached: _FFF__Love_Live____02__BD__1080p_FLAC__32BA31FB_.mkv_snapshot_05.00__2017.01.07_06.28.32_.png (1920x1080, 2.14M)

is it her money or yours? if you care so much, how can you accept an 'itoddler' as your partner?

Phones that launch with 8.0 must support trebble

so yes, it should

There are better things she needs the money for. I am telling her to go to a OP6 or wait for a Mi 8.

both of ours. iphones are garbage. i deal with iphones on a daily basis and people break them so easily.

I know you won't. It's dead. Move on or fork it.

is there any current phone with a 3.5mm jack?

Samsung phones
OnePlus phones
LG phones

bonus entry: essential phone

which one to fall for:
1080p OLED meme or 4k meme??
