I don't get it, this can easily be emulated with a 3rd party app launcher. Also why would anyone want animations to take this long, the iPhone X already lags like a motherfucker in real world use and then constantly heavily overheats and thermal throttles. Shouldn't apple be working to at least make the animations slower?
