it can't find the gentoo
you need to install the gentoo op

can you not read the error message? it tells you exactly what the problem is

it can't find the OS on your computer through all that fucking disgusting grease and oil and dust all over it. Clean that shit off with a wipe and it'll work just fine.

This is why error messages have to be filled with cuddly language, something straight to the point is too complicated.

drive is buggered. got a linux live environment handy?

>install W10
>get flooded with update notifications everyday
>no option to decline update and future updates
>turn on computer one morning
>it begins to automatically update for 3 hours

I DID NOT ASK FOR THIS

Windows 10 Install Script

You asked for this by installing w10 despite 2 years of constant warnings.
You too.

Clean your gross ass monitor

>be power user
>install W10
>take ownership of the musnotification executables and disable execute rights
>disable auto install updates in gpedit
There are advantages to not being retarded. If you can't work out how to take ownership of your computer then auto updates is for the best.

It's a Sony computer.

The Windows update broke your installation and now either your FSBL no longer recognizes the Windows Boot Manager as bootable or the Windows Boot Manager no longer recognizes Windows as bootable.

To fix this, you will need another computer to which you have administrative rights, or some money. You will need to either create (if another computer with admin access) or purchase (if money) bootable media. Windows recovery media would likely be the most painless way to fix your computer, but a Linux live-USB or live-CD may be more affordable, in the event that you do actually have to buy bootable media rather than create it.

Boot the misbehaving computer from the bootable media. If your bootable media is a Windows recovery disk, just click through the prompts and wait for it to do its thing. If it's a Linux disk, you have two options: try to screw around with your non-booting Windows installation manually and see if you can get it to work again, OR: pull all your files off the broken installation to somewhere safe, burn a new Windows installation disk from within Linux, and reinstall Windows from said disk. In the latter case, I would recommend keeping both the Linux disk and the newly created Windows installation media around and not wiping either of them, in case this happens again.

>our work computer
why are redditors so pathetic?

>windows
Found your problem

Rude.

>nonfree software
>take ownership of your computer

windows users everyone.

>unironically giving advice on Jow Forums

probably got shut off prematurely during the update. put in a windows 10 install disc/thumb drive and select the option to detect and fix boot/startup issues. it'll probably fix it.

There's a reason why even IBM has switched exclusively to the Apple Macbook Pro with Retina Display.

>it'll probably fix it.
why are you lying on the ionternet user

This but unironically

>"our" work computer
>1 computer in the building
