I like the features but I can't stand the user base.

Pretty good but it's developed by sjw's and .

Twitter wore it better.

it's decent software, just find an instance that suits you

this
wish 4chin had an instance, could be dope

nest of sjws and pedophiles

No, use gnu social

Cheap Hadoop ripoff.

But userbase depends on the instance

I just opened Mastodon and here's the top post in my feed. How Jow Forums do you want it?

Leviathan is a good album.

There is literally nothing wrong with being a pedophile.

>that jab at sjws
k3k

>t. sjw pedophile

it feels like mastodon enables the creation of hugboxes even more than twitter does. what's the point if the admin of your pod decides to block pod2 because they don't like them or they post too much loli or whatever? sure, you can have your own pod that accepts everything, but is it really worth the time?

A horrible social network full of basedboys and sjw.

Anons with mastodon accounts, what instance are you on?
And is your instance actually good?

Good? It's godly.

mstdn.io is the main one, its alright

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Mastodon,
is in fact, the Fediverse, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Mastodon on the Fediverse.
Mastodon is not a social network unto itself, but rather another free component
of a fully federated social network made useful by the protocols, frontend
utilities and vital backend components comprising a full social network as defined by OStatus/ActivityPub.

Many Mastodon users run a modified instance of the Fediverse every day,
without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the instances of the Fediverse
which are widely used today is often called "Mastodon", and many of its users are
not aware that it is basically the Fediverse, developed by the GNU/Social Project.

There really is a Mastodon, and these people are using it, but it is just a
part of the system they use. Mastodon is the instance: the program in the network
that connects the instance to the other instances that you message.
The instance is an essential part of the Fediverse, but useless by itself;
it can only function in the context of a federated social network. Mastodon is
normally used in combination with the Fediverse: the whole network
is basically the Fediverse with Mastodon added, or Mastodon/Fediverse. All the so-called "Mastodon"
instances are really instances of the Fediverse.
