He has two fucking 1080 Ti's, if he can afford that shit he'll just replace the sticks with 2x16GB or 2x32GB (or the mobo) for more RAM.

There are always two ways to solve a problem: do it smart or throw more money at it.

>"I-i-i can just buy 2x 16gb ram if I need more!"
>comparable 2x 16gb ram nearly costs as much as board and cpu
You've been cucked faggot.

It's good to see you again, glad your still keeping a space for me up in your head.

Looks great, I think it was asked in the last thread but what case is this?

Nice and tidy.

Not too much has changed here. I ran out of space on both my 128GB SSD boot disk and 1TB HDD. Added a 1TB 970 Evo and 6TB WD Black. Thinking of eventually replacing the Corsair H115i with a different cooler, since it lacks full coverage for Threadripper. Maybe the new Wraith Ripper thing or Enermax 360.

Case is a Case Labs M10 Magnum. They no longer produce this style though. I bought it about 8 years ago.
Your build looks nice, but curious why you don't move second card down to next PCIe slot, and also why no SLI bridge? Mining?

Case Labs, I'm jelly.
It's kind of hard to see but there is a little 1x wifi card that blocks the next slot (for a double wide card). I could move the second card down to the last slot, or better yet, finally hook up ethernet in this room and lose the wifi altogether.
I do a bit of gaming once in a while but the cards are mostly for rendering with Redshift, and SLI doesn't help there.

Tried to do some noobie cable managing. Kinda difficult because this ITX case doesn't have room to hold shit behind the other side panel. Much better than the spoiled spaghetti I had before tho

Turned the fans in the roof to intake. Hasn't made a noticeable difference in temps but there's much less dust.

Should I put one (1) more fan in the cooler? Pls respond

No, push/pull doesn't have that much of an increase vs just push or pull. If your temps are too high for you, a higher end cooler is recommended. Plus I see you already have plenty of air flow in the case.
Coolers like the NH-D14 have two fans because they have 2 towers.

Color scheme without cheating with LEDs, nice. Also WD blue HDD, nice touch.

Fuck these sleeved cables are rad, but holy hell are they expensive for just a prettier look.

Well I only spent like 30 bucks in 40 meters of Teleios 4mm sleeving and then sleeve each single cable from the stock PSU cables. It definitely takes its tike (i was doing like a cable per week because of lack of time) but i think it is worth.

but the Spirit 140 BTFO's NH14 and almost matches single fanned NH15

Really liking this case. Meshify C White.

Strix 1080... had a Strix 1070, RMAed that twice, got a 1080 in return. No complaints.

Cramped cases give shit cooling, if you can fit it then get as big a case as you can

but that's just wrong, user.

No it's not, if you have stuff all cramped together in a tiny case the airflow is going to be bad

UV bro. I have to admit though, imo, my PC looks awesome in person but in a photo it looks far more X-TREME than I like. The cheap sensor in my camera or something doesn't translate the UV light for whatever reason. I may set all my lights to white someday for a more muted pic.

Advanced Micro Dick shills are pathetic

He's just my stalker. Every thread I post in it's the same. Pay no mind. Most people that hate my PC will green text their disgust, he just uses stale edgy memes. Easy to tell him apart.

2/10 jew tier

Aren't you the same guy with the giant air box and only a 5ghz overclock?

You should disable hyper-threading to stay safe

Im still on the fence wether to water cool or not. Ive already got a d15 and im open to putting one on my gpu so i cant see their being much value in a custom loop (aside the looks)

Been a while since I posted, not gonna take an update picture quite yet cause the shitposting will be intense with the EVGA case I got for free. Sold my 1700x and got a 2700x, 1080ti now instead of the 1080s.

I feel like something is missing, but I'm not sure what I want to add.

What was working in the metis like? Couldn't have bee the too bad with the stock cooler.

I disabled it and now have 4 cores (was 8). Now my PC become x2 slower? I use Linux and BIOS tells me to enable HT for Linux.

Attached: IMG_20180617_044226869.jpg (5344x4008, 3.44M)

You always had four cores. Hyperthreading just makes each core show up as two cores to the OS. It's a technology that lets a core work on two different things at once, if the parts of the chip those things need to do their work don't overlap.

Yes, disabling it makes your PC slower. Back in like 2005 when HT first appeared there were cases where it reduced performance, because the implementation wasn't refined and because OSes of the time didn't know about its quirks. Those days are gone and it works well now.

There's a theoretical vulnerability with it in the news now. But I wouldn't go disabling HT - if you were a high-risk target, you'd already know about this. Hardware vulnerabilities are sexy so people worry about them a lot, but 99% of all bad stuff happens through software. Namely the browser and an un-updated OS. So keep up with patches and don't worry about being bit by hardware vulns. People who run AWS or the like have to panic right now, you don't.

>3770
been a while since I've seen one of those
>8 cores
decent bait
>Now my PC become x2 slower
That's what you gotta sacrifice for security sorry user

Thanks for clarifying.
I know, but in OS it was 8 cores and when for example converting videos i was able to pick 8 threads. And now it's 4.

I wish I had the balls to go full sperg hardtubed custom loop.

Why not put some space between those cards?

Are you using UV lights to make your fluid fluores or is that just a normal led kit?

>16gb sticks

4 Cores and 8 Threads

Why do you say last? Gonna do a wall mount in the future?

Really want to migrate to one of these cases in the future but the carpet is kind of killing that dream for me at the moment

Attached: 51yzw5aKstL.jpg (500x500, 40K)

Why? They look crap and get dusty as fuck

It's been good, only draw back is dust and lack of 3.5" mounts. It's damn quiet too.

a processor that doesn't have 14 hardware security vulnerabilities?

The coolant in my pic is actually watered down with mostly distilled water. I emptied out coolant for maintenance, and filled with distilled water for temp operations. The glow is from residual coolant in rads and block.

gorgeous

Attached: IMG_20180609_143255.jpg (2837x2116, 1.1M)

Well, that's a thing.

amdflaws.com/

It wasn't bad. You can actually completely disassemble the whole thing to make things easier actually. It's just there's no routing holes for cables to go to behind the mobo tray. Also worth mentioning that the FP USB & switch headers were too short so I had to wait on another order of jumpers to reach them

Attached: IMG_20180615_094243_411.jpg (1080x763, 102K)

All these in addition to affecting intel are comedy class vulnerabilities. Like the level it requires is comedic

any opinon on barrow water cooling?
or should i just buy XSPC raystorm ion?
i will build a near HTPC PC BUILD soon

Attached: 20180511_202640.jpg (1931x1960, 1.98M)

how did you mount that fan to stay in place over the VRMs?

Barrow quality by far surpasses XSPC in fittings, it is basically Bitspower without the ugly ass logo, 90 degree fittings are very stiff (in a good way). I made 66371467 with barrow fittings at most, DDC pumps are also excelent.

When it comes to waterblocks I like them in the following order:

Watercool > Aquacomputer > Phanteks > Koolance > Bitspower > BarrowCH = EK > Barrow > Byski > XSPC > Alphacool > Swiftech

not in the pic but to the left and right of the fan there are snall holes. i used plastic coated wires to attach the fanbracket to the case and watercooler tube. doesnt rattle and works exccelent

I lost one of my 2TB HDDs recently, AMA

>WP_
Holy shit a Windows Phone holdout. What device are you using?

That photo was taken with a Lumia 950. I don't use it anymore though, recently replaced it with a Nokia 8 Sirocco, mostly because actually important apps started to drop support for Windows Mobile.
Sadly the camera on the new phone is something of a disappointment, as is Android itself.

Yeah I'm using Android myself now for app support, and it's a pretty sorry excuse for an OS compared to Windows Phone (WP≈8.1). Wish MS won in that area.

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Me too, MS got a lot of things right with Windows 10 Mobile, but no amount of improvements to the OS would ever make up for how much they kept on shooting themselves in the foot since WP7 was first launched.

Meanwhile Android is missing a lot of things that seem like they should be basic shit coming from W10M, especially in regards to app permissions and customization.
I mean come on, I can't even toggle whether an app is allowed to run in the background through Android's settings. What the fuck, Google ?

And then there's the mess of differences in software and updates between manufacturers, oh boy.

Is that photoshopped or did you take your PC to a studio lmao
Looks comfy, graphics cards look a little starved but they're blower so who cares
