Because OP is a faggot, obviously.

because linux user's aren't retarded enough to have the kind of problem that sharex can solve

>what is wine

wine is cheating

>literally what?

Yeah, I'm using Linux but I certainly miss ShareX and foobar2000.
Flameshot is good, but not as good as ShareX.

The best open source desktop recording tool available, more options than imaginable and there's nothing like it

>win10 getting better built in snipping
>sharex is still goat for anything more
>linux is struggling to connect with printers
when will Jow Forums finally stop living in 2002?

>what is flameshot

scrot -s just werks

more like flameshit

>>linux is struggling to connect with printers
Struggling? Are you sure? All the printers that I've tried in my house work with Ubuntu based distributions.

Do they actually work though sis? Because most of you fags don't actually test anything. Ubuntu might see the printer on the network but I guarantee it won't print shit properly.
That's just how linux is, not suitable for home use.

>sis
?
Not sure why you are calling me sis. And yes, it does work. At least for Brother and Hewlett Packard printers.

the prnt screen key just works, and much faster than your haxor autism archfag

ShareX is Open Source.
Port it.

why not nu-scrot, slop?

Implying the print screen isn't bind to scrot

>relies on .net
yeah np

Someone needs to make a Linux version of ShareX.

Wine Is Not an Emulator

>not using postscript printers
It's not our fault

>what is Shutter

Why do winbabies always sound like retards?

to be honest printers are a problem on everything
t. triplebooter

hmm, couldn't it use mono?

wtf is wrong with you?
there is absolutely no need for it. if you can't use unix systems without shit like this, don't fucking use unix

github.com/ShareX/ShareX/issues/498

>not rolling your extremely customized functions straight into your wm using escrotum/scrot and ffmpeg
Do it right

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.

There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

There is. It's called scrot.

>The best open source desktop recording tool
I think you mean OBS? anyway, I never heard of sharex before so I don't really know what it does but if the point of it is to take screenshots and make videos of your desktop then there's plenty of existing GNU/Linux software that just works.

freetards*

The dependency is in the UI. Porting it to qt would be an absolute nightmare.

Everyone doing desktop C# development is waiting for the based dotnet core team to figure out a solid solution to cross platform UI that's as nice as winforms or WPF. I'm hoping for a core version of WPF that has 50%+ compatibility with legacy WPF and works in blazor. It would be like a less retarded version of Electron.

never had a problem connecting any standard printer/scanner to Linux.

Most of them also run linux.

You deserve a punch in the snatch.

based

That would go against everything Linux is. Easy to use? Into the garbage with you!

Screencloud does the job nicely.
