Guns, 20mm anti-tank rifles probably the most. These babies can slice off a mans arm or decapitate him with a single round.

My first ever computer when I was 4.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I can still find some charm in those older devices. But for a different reason than yours. All those buttons and knobs seem much more reliable than touchscreen stuff.

This will seem kinda weird to you, but I have a custom keyboard that I use as a remote control for my TV. It was one of those "calculator" keyboards used in banks back in 1998~2002. Even wrote a driver for it and everything.

When I think about "decks" from Neuromancer and stuff, I think about this, not laptops.

The Heckler & Koch MP5 is true beauty.

Agreed. The original Mac was such a beautiful little thing.

(OP)
The Commodore PET was an awesome all-in-one, but it's the later models with the real keyboard that deserve to be shown here.

My god how comfy is this.

There's more than just KV-1311CR. There are production PVM models that use that chassis. I have a KV-1311CR myself, but I think there are better monitors out there that use that design.

Are full-size mechanical keyboards with god-like switches aesthetic?
(Does the answer depend on whether full RGB lighting is disabled?)

muh nigrah

I have a portable from the 20s. Some fucktard dropped it before I bought it though so it's never really been functional, but I still lug it around.

You're not fooling anyone with that wheelwriter, mate.
My vote goes to old PowerBooks, by the way.

Yeah... About that... It has a bad display (caps have been replaced, still has inverted video), a dead hard drive and a bad floppy drive. I'm waiting for a cheap 140/160 with broken hinges to pop up somewhere to scavenge those parts from it.

Nothing much. Finally got me a multisystem LD player. Got it for parts because it had a seized spindle motor. Swapped it with the one from my dead CLD-700S and it's running good as new. I've also got the workshop mostly sorted out, I should make an update video about that.

I said “chassis” for a reason. PVM-1390/KV-1311CR/KX-14CP1 is a mouthful.

Wow. It's an all-in-one between the Commodore PET and the Apple iMac.

Apple, 2000:
>Let's make a workstation that fits in an 8" cube, and let's use standard upgradeable components, because after all it's a workstation
Apple, 2013:
>So Jony said he saw this wicked cool trashcan and wants us to make a computer with that shape. By the way, let's give the users the illusion of upgradeability by making it easy to open, but making everything but the ram and CPU completely proprietary
Apple 2017:
>Professionals don't buy our products anymore, let's not waste R&D and slap a Xeon in an all in one and call it a day

My vote goes to either the OG Space Cadet keyboard (rusted out or new-old stock, either way), the Karas Kustoms bolt pen (all copper version), or the Fisher AG7 (standard issue for astronauts). I'm kind of an input dork, and I love the way these merge simplicity and complexity to achieve their goal of extreme reliability and versatility - maximalist layout, hall-effect switches in an easily-serviced, simple, built-like-a-tank hull on the SC; Fisher's pen cartridge and a similarly tank-built metal frame for both the AG7 and the bolt, though Karas Kustoms takes it a step further and machines (!!) the entire pen and makes it fit any standard pen cartridge, not just the Fisher. Fisher's looks sleeker and more elegant though, so they tie.
