How does Apple make the most money in the world when it's only got like 10% market share? What trickery are they pulling?

>What trickery are they pulling?
It's called selling technology to people who don't understand the technology they're getting and it's worth.

Also cute anime girl desu.

It's not that there's a lot of people with the money:sense ratio to buy Apple products. It's that these people have such a skewed ratio in favor of money that Apple is able to operate as the wealthiest corporation ever to exist.

>have foxconn shit out the same shit that acer does
>slap fruit logo on it
>mark it up 5000%
>market it hard as """""""""premium"""""""""

If it's so easy why doesn't Sony or Dell do it?

Upper middle class whites won't use anything as prole-tier as Dell or Sony.

It's not about what you make, it's about who you market your product towards. Macfags are barely functioning troglodytes passing as human.

The dumb people market is very lucrative, just look at our current president.

It's also extremely difficult to right click.

50+% profit margins

>press ctrl and click
not that difficult

>Eliminate a button so you use one finger less on the mouse
>Still have to reach to the keyboard and use a finger to do said function
Think different, everyone

>So it's extremely difficult to push the wrong one
If their users are so stupid to tell apart right from left what makes they think they can tell apart alt, ctrl, command and option?

Why would your fingers not be near the keyboard already?

Sony is top of the class engineering. Their shit is far better built than Apple's.

This. The air and iphone are both knockoffs of Sony's designs, and every applel product before that were knockoffs of Braun products. Apple is literally knockoffs: the brand.

Comparing 1984 to today's world, where computers back then had 128KB of RAM at best, some very expensive had 512KB.

No need to right click when the software isn't up there.

Because anyone looking to buy a good computer/tablet/phones, knows what to buy, Apple.

Nobody buys Androids for over $200, or PC's over $300, only a small vocal minority here on Jow Forums.

And for a good reason, they suck.

> Sony is top of the class engineering. Their shit is far better built than Apple's.

That's why their PC division went bankrupt, right?

So, what you expect? The iPad to know which finger you used?

At least iPhones have FORCE TOUCH, where NO ANDROID has it.

>engineering quality is equal to marketing and sales
This is why mactoddlers manchildren are always the laughing stock of any tech board/forum/community.

Profit margins far above normal, for one. It's objectively overpriced in the financial sense, the demand isn't motivated purely by price or cost-benefit.

Sony sold off their personal computer division because they wanted to focus on other shit.
Are you gonna say IBM is shit at engineering since they sold their PC division?

Their expenses are pretty limited with recycled battery cells and child labor on par with nestle.

Are you suggesting Samsung pay decent wages to their slaves?

Their PC division went bankrupt because you can't sell "luxury" tier electronics unless your name is Apple.

The PC market was pure race-to-the-bottom with everyone competing on 0.5% margins. Sony only gave a shit about their heigh end devices, like their Carbon Fiber, 1080p-on-13" highest-dpi-at-the-time Vaio Z, and their low end devices were crap.

They should have gone full Apple and refused to sell a device for under $999, but instead they put out crap out at the $400-$700, which most people bought which completely tarnished the Vaio name.

And saying their PC division went bankrupt isn't true. They pulled out because there is no money in PCs anymore, unless your name is Apple where you can sell at 20%+ markup. Almost all the major players in PC is chinkshit (except HP which is notoriously bad).

Literally every android phone since almost the very beginning has had pressure sensitivity, they just realized it's a retarded gimmick and a horrible way to design a UI. Not that an appletoddler manchild would understand the need for devices with more than one button.

In the 80s and early 90s at best.

Sorry I would rather pay a 10% markup on hardware than rather pay lowest price possible so I get install software that tracks me all over the internet and installs ads in the fucking desktop environment.

Either that or you sell beige box Excel machines by the thousands to large companies.

As if Sony is bad in marketing/sales

> Literally every android phone since almost the very beginning has had pressure sensitivity

What a fucking lie.

>nstall software that tracks me all over the internet and installs ads in the fucking desktop environment
LMAO dumbass, then know what you're buying. Who the fuck doesn't ALWAYS make clean installs anyway?

Unless you mean Windows, which fits what you said, but that's your fault if you choose to use that piece of shit.

> Literally every android phone since almost the very beginning has had pressure sensitivity,

So, this is the BS that Android fanbois tell themselves?

Ridiculous.

>Sorry I would rather pay a 10% markup on hardware
>Sorry I would rather pay a 10% markup
>10%

I can't even..

He explicitly posted you a image proving him right you retarded itoddlers just cant read

They have the lowest marketshare when it comes to OS installs, but the highest marketshare when compared to other manufacturers. There are shitloads of Android manufacturers but only 1 iPhone manufacturer; the only other smartphone company with the kind of marketshare Apple does is Samsung, a lot of the others have like 1% or even less of the market. These retards saying it's because of insane margins and markup don't know what they're talking about, they price their phones at ~3x the BOM which is standard in the consumer electronics world. All the other phone makers price their products similarly. I remember reading a comparison of BOM price to MSRP among different flagships at the time, and almost all of them are also 3x the BOM, the lowest was 2x the BOM (it was either Nokia or Motorola, can't remember).

high end market

Its called profit margins

Apple:
>Sell a little for a lot

Everyone Else
>Sell a lot for a little

>It's called selling technology to people who don't understand the technology they're getting and it's worth.
This isn't 1990.... People don't choose Apple, they WANT it.
