Sometimes I wonder why the LOST decoration crew think that an Apple II with an Apple III display was the way to control the Swan mainframe, instead of a real terminal, like a VT 220.
Yes, its autistic as fuck. That show really awaken the autism of everyone in its time.

I'll sometimes use a rock to shape limbs or drive stakes instead of walk 10 minutes back to my house to get a hatchet or hammer.
Not sure how much more outdated you can get.
Camden Cox
Isaiah Miller
Sansa Clip+ would be the oldest thing I still have... I wouldn't call it outdated though.

Tyler Gutierrez
this Burroughs desktop calculator from 1971. It's a license built clone of the 1969 Sharp QT-8D; first mass produced calculator to use ICs for logic instead of just a great haphazardly soldered together heap of transistors and diodes. As you can see from the photo it was designed when they were just starting to transition away from nixie tubes and hadn't quite worked out the optimal seven-segment design for a digital number display yet.
Elijah Richardson
Xbox 360. I want a One X
Jordan Perry
Your mom

That's a good question. All my tech is fairly recent. Most obsolete software I use is a desktop mail client. I have no good reason to use one. I just like them.
Wyatt Hernandez
sblive+sidewinder
Gavin Walker
Nice analog iPod
Dylan Phillips
It's the best a ps2 will look. Sorry you wasted money on a shitty old monitor :(
Bentley Lee
Out of literally no other reason than I had a huge tape collection and thought "fuck that shit" when CD's came along, and by the time playing music on my cellphone had become the norm, I was so set in my ways that I kept using it up until about 2 or 3 years ago. Still sometimes break it out for the comfi factor.
>tfw autistic and don't like change.
Brandon Morgan
does my tv from the 60s count?
Noah Morales
I fuckin' love the turbografx16. I have an everdrive for mine.
William Wright
I don't actively watch anything on it, but I do use it a couple times a month to digitize oddball LD releases that never made it to DVD.
Joshua Bell
A 1970s Seiko 52 caliber mechanical watch. But it works just as well as a modern mid-to-high end mechanical watch, so I don't know if it is "outdated" so much as it's "old".
In terms of electronics, all my stereo equipment is from the 1990s. Sony stuff made in glorious Nippon. If we're strictly talking about computers, I still use my Thinkpad T500, which is almost 10 years old at this point.
I used to have a Technics (Panasonic) stereo receiver from 1975. I was really disappointed when it started crapping out a few years ago, I liked it better than the Sony receiver I have now.
Camden Walker
Underrated console. I have a PAL-modded PC Engine (which, strangely, has it's original 60Hz mode if you take composite video out from the expansion bus at the back, not sure how that works), it was amazing what it was capable of given the hardware it had.
Lincoln Gomez
all of this, daily. top comf.
Austin Smith
Imagine being this much of a dumb nigger.
What's next, "just get an HDMI upscaler! it'll look and feel great!"

Kevin Powell
Because the DeGroots were hipster as fuck and all "namaste, let's be awesome to each other and then do crazy psychological experiments on people that think they're making the world a better place". Of course they'd use Apple hardware.
Jordan Watson
God damn that monitor is so aesthetic
John Miller
LD's are fucking noice. Very nice, user.

The percolator I make my coffee with was made in the 80s.
Ethan Ramirez
Just bought the same one at a resale yesterday for $1.
Isaac Collins
no, they're measurably less killy than an optical mouse. but they're a reasonable choice when you've got a cramped desk, and they look SO cool (pic related)
if you want to lose in style you could also look into spacemice from the 1990s. you can connect the old serial port spaceorb360/spaceball4000/logitech magellan as six-axis usb joysticks in modern windows using open source orbotron9000, a $1 max3232 and a $5 atmega32u4 ardumeme clone.
Henry Walker
20. He's still into Lain.
Chase Morgan
That's actually really nice, but how do you use the keys with two functions? Press them twice?
Connor Taylor
How much do you want for it? I'm being serious.
