nah. the problem is that with the equipment i got i can't get it perfect if i tried. there are 10 coarseness settings on my grinder, the sensible range is 9-10 while the rest is unusable. the machine isn't too great either. i don't have a scale to accurately weigh coffee or beakers to measure the extraction. if i had guaranteed perfection then i'd definitely go through the motions.

Aeropress. No muss, no fuss, just good coffee in the time it takes to boil water

Theres nothing wrong with drip coffee if thats your thing, however just invest 15-20$ in a grinder, if you grind it fresh you really taste the difference

In theory you're meant to heat the water while it's upside-down and then flip it, but that's just asking for trouble. I just use the top to boil the water and then pour it.
I can't go back to moka pots now, although it's not quite as good as an espresso from a good coffee machine.

I blend 3 cups of rice and 3 sticks of cinnamon with 1.5 tablespoons of vanilla and 1 cup of sugar.

Let it sit for a few hours.

Throw it in a gallon jug, add 2 cups of milk and a quarter cup of instant coffee mix. Top it off with water.

Forgot to mention that by "throwing" it in a gallon jug, I am straining it.

Drinking cold coffee is an abomination.
Cold brew is also insufficient at extracting beneficial alkaloids like cafestol and chlorogenic acids.
Cold brew is inferior to brewing at a constant circulating water bath around 53c.
Only people who unironically advocate muh cold brew, drink it cold. You want the best extraction of coffee, you're going to need to get a sous vide machine and do a hotter brew using the same technique.

Takes a bit longer than overnight to properly make cold brew. About 18-20 hours, thats how long Starbucks does it.

Cold brew is a lot stronger than regular dark roast drip coffee. If you don't want to drink burnt tasting espresso or drip its the only choice.

Use a mason jar (16oz) fill it with several scoops of coffee (it's potent so less is needed, I don't have precise measurements), and fill the rest with water. Set it to 55.5 C, for 12 hours, then turn it up to 80c before removing removing. Brewing it around 70c is most efficient for cafestol content. Poor into a weak filter, and enjoy.
You'll get more constituents and caffeine than any other brewing method. Cold brew sucks in comparison because the constituents aren't water soluble at such low temperatures.

I don't know how much you're used to. 200 mg is what I take nowadays, but back when I drank coffee I might very well have started my days with 500 mg, and then added another 1000 mg during the day since I had an office job.

You could accuse me for placebo, but I get a severe headache if I don't take caffeine for 24-36 hours, and the pills prevent that at least.
