If Xiaomi drops headphone jack or MicroSD on the Mi Max 3 I'd be forced to downgrade to a Redmi for my next phone but Xiaomi keeps they Type C only for the Mi brand and all the Redmi uses MicroUSB.

To be fair, they are called the "Apple of China". Either way, they may have succeeded in creating a perfect smartphone and a perfect upgrade to the Galaxy S5 with the Redmi Note 5. An even bigger battery and water resistance would be nice to see in the next iteration.

USB c supports analog audio but it's not implemented in most phones, just like video out over usb c isn't either.

What are either of these supposed to convey? They encapsulate my point pretty well, USB-C audio doesn't consistently work and people prefer bluetooth to dongles.

Thing is yeah i have Tin T2 and a good MMCX bluetooth cable but it only lasts 5 hourse and a few times i have been caught out flat. Its annoying thats when you want a conventional headphone jack no dongles to keep you going.
