It's about equal to a 1060. It just depends on how much money you spent on it.

Pray the VRMs still got some life in them.
That's the thing that dies in any motherboard / gpu after a while.

This is also the reason I'm ok with buying used CPUs but not used mobos, gpus or PSUs

ive never had a motherboard die on me I think most people who have motherboard die just have motherboard that don't support their new GPU and think its dead. using a psu from 2007 also.

I spend 165 euro of which 32 was shipping , its much cheaper than a 1060 at least.

Was it worth 165?

Not quite. 780 ti is ~10% worse than 1060 3GB.

Bullshit the 1060 3gb is a small bit faster than a 780 so no way its "10%" faster than a 780 ti

Have a PC from 2006, still alive and kickin

My MSI Gaming X 1060 6GB overclocked is almost as fast as some slow 1070's.

And this is a 780 ti king pin so I'll be able to overclock it to shit

Yes and the 1060 3GB can overclock too. What's the claim here? 1060 3GB can't overclock?

Performance difference would be ~10% same . Even if you gained a 10% performance in 780 ti, it would probably get to close to stock 1060 3GB.

Its a fucking king pin it has 2 8 pins and a 6 pin power pcie and your telling me your puny 3gb 1060 will be just as good at overclocking as the 780 ti king pin ?

You're full u shet mate
Sadly yes

They are so close to the same that it doesn't matter. Why the hard on for being ahead anyway?

I got a rx 480 for 200 a few years ago.

How much?
But worse drivers and less VRAM.

It may clock high, I had one going 1306 MHz, but when you hit these clocks your PC will melt.

I recently got a 480 for 200, which is better in any way, even warranty. Also 8 GB.

I sidegraded from a 780 Ti to a 1060 3G said
this one, archieving 1306 MHz with a AIO I got for cheap. It did a few hundred points more even at stock while not having furnace heat in my face while playing. It drew around a third and gave me time since I didn't pay anything and could buy a 1070 later. You can't imagine how it feels when the 1080 Ti releases and you finally max your resolution. The 780 Ti ran on full load always, I didn't even dare to try newer games.

I still want a cheap titan kepler to fuck aroung with double precision CUDA.

I got a 980 for £170. You could have done better.

They are still pretty expensive. I recently saw Titan XM still go for 500+.

780 ti and 980 are fair close to each other and you spent 30 euro more than me so "you could've done better"

It has more VRAM and better drivers. Kepler drivers suck nowadays.

>titan kepler
mfw i got 2 for free

Still it performs within a few fps to the 780 ti in games

780ti is weaker than 970 or is close to it. 1060 3GB is inbetween 970 and 980. 1060 6GB is ~980.

While 780ti isn't that bad and is inbetween 1050ti and 1060 3GB, the price isn't that great. Especially since its an outdated card by now.

had 3 motherboards die on me, each time caps went bad and it wasn't worth fixing over going new.

yo, is $280 US a good deal for 980 ti? or should I wait until next gen gpu's come out in hopes of finding something at a better price point?

Yes. If you already own one its good, but I wouldn't buy one for over 100 €, thats absolutely overpriced even for a good card like the Kingpin.
Which brand? I wonder because my 2007 HP OEM/Pegatron caps still look like they were new, as if this board couldn't die. I don't regularly use it but it survived many years of dust and heat and a 4cm layer of condensed cat hair.

yeah that's a good price, I have a titan x maxwell and it's basically the same thing. I paid for 365 for mine.
