What's the go-to music player for Windows? I was thinking about using Foobar2000 but then I remembered it phoned home to the chinese or something like that.
Elijah Parker
MusicBee is pretty good, it has a decent UI and is pretty light

Is there a searchable archive of /t/? I found one archive but it doesn't allow searching.
What torrent sites do people use nowadays? Got all my shit right but can't seem to find anything!

Any torrent site that is most visual and feature set, as they all scrape each other's torrents so they all have the same exact torrents. Its just the presentation on your end

How do I get the classic start menu back in windows 10? Is Classic Shell still botnet? Just got a new laptop and have spent the last hour performing chemotheropy on it to treat the malignant cancer that is windows 10.
Adrian Richardson
All good an all, but c'mon! Post links mang.

TPB or the search thingy on qBittorrent is usually sufficient.
If you have boost on yes, something in the system triggered it

I am trying to get the registers to appear in multiple columns in gdb with the gef plugin installed. I am ssh'd into the ARM box on which the program is compiled and where I am debugging it. There doesn't seem to be a config option for it. When I just use gdb and do Ctrl-X + A, and then >layout regs, it displays fine. top displays fine. Other things that use terminal width all seem fine.
you should switch to the latest and greatest my friend

My PC started smoking out of nowhere. My gpu doesn't work I get a black screen, tested on another pc, and good gpus don't work with my pc.
So I know the gpu is dead, what else the mobo or cpu? Everything turns on except gpu.
Daniel Gomez
>So I know the gpu is dead, what else the mobo or cpu? Everything turns on except gpu. PSU??
Tyler Russell
>latest and greatest my friend >not using rtorrent
Josiah Bell
But if that was the case wouldn't it not turn on at all. Everything but the gpu is running, but good gpus don't work either.
Michael Myers
Whenever I use cmake for dylibs everything works fine but if I try to replace it with a static library, it says that the linker command failed. Am I supposed to like a static library different from how I link a dynamic library?
Jace Adams
rTorrent is VERY shit

Why doesn't my j5005 board not detect any OS installation USB? I tried Win7, Ubuntu, and also a SSD that has a Win10 already installed. It doesn't find anything to be bootable.
Noah Rivera
Here's what my CMakeLists.txt looks like cmake_minimum_required (VERSION 3.0) add_executable (TEST main.cpp) include_directories ("${CMAKE_CURRENT_SOURCE_DIR}/Dependencies/libpqxx/include") target_link_libraries (TEST "${CMAKE_CURRENT_SOURCE_DIR}/Dependencies/libpqxx/lib/libpqxx.a")
include/ has a child dir libpqxx/ which hold the .h and .hxx files lib/ only has libpqxx.a
Matthew Gray
Well it could be the GPU output on the PSU. PSU have different voltages on different cables. Do a Google on what they are then grab your multimeter and go to to town
transmission-daemon is the latest & greatest though. If you're starting with rtorrent at this point, you're either doing something really strange or more likely a tryhard consolecmd kid.

So, I've got an EVGA GeForce GTX 960 graphics card. My computer boots fine, and screen is visible for a few seconds, but it shortly blacks out for a few seconds, comes back on, goes back out, maybe 2 or 3 seconds each turn. Fans on it are spinning at start up, but around when it first blacks out, fans stop, and stay stopped. Is it a driver issue? Do I just need a new one?
Wyatt Hernandez
I tried a gpu that doesn't need additional power from psu. No good. Does that rule out psu. I don't have a multimeter and don't know how to troubleshoot pc components.
Sebastian Morris
Does Windows have a command you can enter into the command line to split a file to a specified size?
And if not is there a decent fairly minimal tool for this that I can use from the command line?
Luke Phillips
So I installed a fresh version of Win10 on my computer, since trying to download the last update near bricked it. My computer still says there's 500+ gigs of my HD in use and I haven't wiped that HD, so how can I recover that stuff? System restore doesn't seem to work at all because of course Win10 is a massive piece of jew dogshit.
Grayson Walker
Foobar isn't a botnet
MusicBee is better though, also no botnet
Carter Perez
Are you saying the files are on a different partition than your new windows install? The files should just be there. Might help if you post your disk management.
Josiah Ross
No, it's in a temporary "old windows" file created for when you do a new install over an old one, except I can't access it the way you're supposed to through System Restore.
I've just found that I can copy/paste old files over manually, I guess disregard this question now. Hopefully I can save all my Steam game installs so I don't have to spend 3 trillion hours redownloading this shit on my terrible internet
Thomas Lopez
Honestly, I get this is a weeb website, but fuck I hate anime shit.

And I hate normalfags, but here we are.

Linux doesn't show me my root partition, how can I find it?

What else would people post.

Thanks for that hot opinion, user. I've written it down in my journal.

Refurbished HD, just arrived, does anyone know what to make of "Vendor-specific"? Can't find info anywhere else.
That might be true because I can post in safemode, but if I disable my 4 addons manually, I still can't post.
Colton Hughes
Oh no, someone can see that my warranty is expired and I didn't buy AppleCare
Nolan Roberts
If you don't restart after disabling it might not take effect. ublock/umatrix are common culprits. If you're using anything custom on ublock, reset to defaults.
Henry Richardson
Sounds like something that the seller can't replace themselves. Great.

Not him but by deleting it you made it epic for him to repost it. You have no recourse to reply in a socially validating way at all.

Holy shit I was about to say I scrolled through their pixiv and didn't see her again, but she actually does have a character tag and a series tag; just use iqdb and browse it on your booru of choice. Her melons aren't so totally bonkers in canon it seems, but it's still way up there.

My still relatively new HDD has gone retardedly slow in the past day or so. It can't even play a music file without stopping to load, and even loading picture thumbnails takes 10 minutes. I've run a chkdsk /f, tried defgramenting (7% fragmented but it would apparently take five whole days to defragment) and checked the drive health. All says it's fine. The fuck's wrong with it?
Eli Nguyen
Any decent, free way to sync podcasts between desktop and mobile? I'm using pocketcasts on my phone and while it lags a bit on my moto g4 it's pretty good. I'm a huge fan of the silence skip since the kind of podcasts I listen to tend to have unnecessary pauses.
Do you have any recommendations for books/learning materials on TCP/IP and computer networking?
Tyler Brown
And now if I boot it any way but safe mode, I get a black screen and a cursor. No audio in safe mode.
OS is Windows 7, 64 bit.

Is it ok to use copy /b file1 + file2 + file3 etc to join files together?

is it possible to have my PC connected to Wifi with a Wireless USB and have an ethernet switch connecting other divices like a PS3 and somehow share the PC's wireless connection to the PS3 over LAN?
Dylan Kelly
Yeah, it's super easy to do in windows 10. Just go into settings, network and mobile hotspot option and enable it.
Justin Williams
Suggest creative names for my network. I live in an apartment complex so a ton of people will see it
How the actual fuck do I go from the honesty that is on Jow Forums to the obvious neckbeardness that is the workplace. I mean they're absolute fake assholes with not a genuine fat cell on their rotund frames.
I know I'm here forever, but hell I can't take a shekel trip?

That should catch some flies.

On Windows 7 don't have a wireless USB at the moment but is it 'share connection?'
Eli Taylor
Two questions...
1) Does Energy Efficient Ethernet have any effect on performance? Will it potentially increase latency, or make my computer less likely to notice a request over the network right away or something? Or should I just leave it on?
2) Power went out in my home last night when I was sleeping, PC was sleeping too and when I turned it back on I noticed that some system settings seemed to be forgotten, for example my monitor calibration level, some GPU settings, network adapter power settings that I had recently changed, does this indicate anything bad that I should be worried about? Did a chkdsk /scan and it didn't find anything but I think I'll do an offline scan too just in case.

clover 3.0.1 won't post says "handshake failed"
i tried rebooting my lagdroid and it still says same shit floens you faggot fix this right now
So I found in my shit this old chink USB device that recieves digital TV signals with an antenna for your computer, the drivers CD was missing.
I have Debian and plugged into my PC for the lulz, nothing happened as expected but when I plug it out the entire computer freezes completly, having to force a shutdown manually.
So this is fucking weird and funny, but seems like an educational opportunity, how would you go for reverse engineering this little shit and creating a driver so it maybe werks? I know my programming but not shit about the Linux kernel, any recommended directions for going about it?

what issue do you have with sicp?
Nathan Barnes
Okay, this has been fucking killing me and I can't fucking figure out how to solve it. I've been slaving away at this stupid fucking Windows 7 Network for almost two hours trying to figure this shit out and I'm losing my fucking mind.
So I have two Win 7 PC on the same network, one is a laptop on WiFi, the other is a desktop on Ethernet. Now, I've shared the User file on both and make them discoverable via the Advanced Sharing Controls. I don't want to use a homegroup, sharing the files directing via the LAN works just fine, I can access files from Docs, Videos and Downloads, just the way I set them up from either computer. The only tiny issue, that's killing me right now, is that for some reason beyond me, the User folder from my laptop shows every folder in it. That is the Link, Desktop, Favorites, etc. but I never shared them, yet they remain visible on my Desktop. Whereas my Desktop, which is set up exactly the same, only shows the specific folders that I shared when I access it's User folder from my laptop. So basically, my desktop can access folders from my laptop which I did not share, even though they are set up exactly the same way. The desktop is a family computer, and I don't want all of my laptops User files to be available.
Why are stores pushing digital coupons and their apps? Is it being used for spying?
Andrew Ramirez
Are you sure that if you go to Properties of those folder you dont want them to see, theres is no option to disable sharing?
Jace Nguyen
Rufus formatted a USB flash drive as FAT32 and placed a single 3.6GB "install.wim" file on it. How.
Connor Brooks
The folders which are appearing are all not shared, their should be no way for my PC to access them, They only have Permissions with Admin, System and User and it is only set to share to the "Owner." Only three folders within my Users folder should be visible. Which is how it works out when I browse my PC files from my laptop. Both set up the same way, yet it only works the way I want it too from my PC
Carson Baker
Yes. I wish I was joking or something, but they literally want the app installed because it can collect more data about you than the browser can.
Anthony Baker
Are there any guides to hacking or upgrading a Steam Link, specifically the wireless aspect?
I know the built-in wireless is shit and want to use a wireless adapter (USB or ethernet) to improve the connection.
Worst case would be taking it apart and modding in a better antenna.
