Have we found the best distro?

Cancer

install gentoo

It's the best.

Why the fuck am I forced to use GRUB during debian installation?
How do I skip the step and install systemd-boot?

your i3 needs more ricing for you to fit in with tiling WM ricers

don't install grub, chroot into your install and install it from there
Why though? GRUB being bad with UEFI is a shitty 2013 meme.
Most of my rice is keyboard shortcuts and zsh aliases.
I don't give a fuck about anything else.

Install CloverOS

>professional polished distro
vs
>a shitty gentoo install that doesn't even prompt you for encryption in the installer

>Needing a prompt for disk encryption like a child

setting up LUKS and dmcrypt is easy sure, but it's very hard to remember the syntax for a proper encryption setup.
Anything I can't do without an internet connection is something I can't use.
Hence why the debian installer is better.

>can’t even adjust brightness
>best distro

guess you ain't so bright then lmao

Doesn't look like openSUSE to me.

>Dotherightthing

Can't boost the Joost.

brightness of the screen? Isn't that just a matter of installing the right driver?

YYYEEEEEAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

>opensuse
most bloated distro ever

use dwm and stop being bloat

>he doesn't use kali

Amazing setup though

>2008+10
>caring about bloat

Send, please?

That's the most autistic thing I've seen on Jow Forums this week
Enjoy

nah fuck dwm
i3 has a nice, human readable config
fuck that autistic "hurr rice the source code and recompile every time you want to make a small edit"

go use debian like a sane person for a couple of months, installing what you need to do your work and seeing the package count go upwards of two thousand
no

t. i use devian as my main distro, looking to jump ship to void

>i use devian as my main distro
>devian
>is it debian
>or is it devuan
Your post made me realize that the both different letters between Debian and Devuan are right next to the originals on the keyboard. I've never thought about that.

>Stephanie Joosten on a Ran/g/eets screen
I think we have a winner

hey retard
Arch groups packages

Thank you, user. Have a nice day!

Why the hell is everyone jumping to void all of a sudden, whats the benefit?

Stop being an idiot

lmao void
get a life nigger

Nice come back. You're not mad at all. Haha
I think there might be a few more packages you don't have installed; go install them

>SystemD hating
>Rebbit spacing
Cancer.

I'm glad I don't use a faggot distro that groups packages together because of muh package count when posting to unixporn.
end it faggot

Yes, Void Linux.

Runit, minimalistic, and super fast :-
When I tried it out, it booted in less than 10 seconds, debian is taking more than a minute because systemd autistically requires all network interfaces to be raised. Plus, compared to deb, there's no bloat in dependencies themselves. (Installing GTK won't install a theme, etc)

Slackware
Devuan is decent too

Nothing wrong with readability

>the most autistic thing
I don't know what's more autistic, the guy requesting a photo of the girl playing Quiet in MGSV, or the guy who has a folder full of them.

>seeing the package count go upwards of two thousand
package count means very little to absolutely nothing since different distributions have different ways of determining what constitutes a "package"
install size is a better measure but arch babies dont like this because it ruins the view that arch is somehow "minimalist" when they realise every single one of the package dev's optional dependencies gets included in the binary
>install gentoo

Developed by Red Hat and therefore adopted by every major player.

N I X O S

Void is shit as of now. It might get better though.

Haha. So mad. So lonely. Hahaha

Says best distro. Posts a picture of debian. Hey OP, make up your mind?

The best distro must not be built against systemd.

Explain this retarded meme of using xrandr to set to a retarded resolution before taking a screenshot

What are your specs, I have no problem booting 99% of any debian fork I run now in less then 10 seconds, Parrot Studio boots in a heartbeat and it sits on a 32gb msata.

You got the best bg's cloverguy.

how do you even read stuff your resolution is way too high

>needlessly over complicating shit for no apparent reason.

Sure, i could use an adjustable wrench and attach it to my steering column to control my car
like some fucking Mad Max movie. But a actual steering wheel would be optimal.

except you actually can adjust it. What the fuck are you even talking aboot?

pentium p6000 with 4 gb of ram i think

just install pic related and forget about it
get back to work

>amazon botnet

Damn, yea I can see why you'd want to switch over.
Intel Core i7-3610QM with 16gb of ram.

Stop.

tried that, failed
firstly I had to went through the maze to find testing iso with nonfree firmware
the live cd failed to boot into desktop gui (same with devuan)
the graphical installer failed to install with error, but only after wiping my disk
maybe I have some defective failing hardware or something, ubuntu however works

Attached: screenshot-taylorswift.jpg (960x720, 112K)

suckless retards are the new archfags, can you try to be less obnoxious?

why would you want to do that lilo is better

what kind of tool is used in top right command line to show files systems and previews?

turned out my usb drive failed

ranger

redpill me on unstable vs. testing
