>everybody super excited about the 2700x >8700k came out 6 months ago >2700x comes close but isnt exactly on par >only beats it in multithread, but only barely >few months from now intel will drop 9700k
AMD drones just can't win. Must suck loving a company that does nothing but fail all the time.
Intel literally had to book it out of a show recently because they had to use a freezer running on illegal refrigerant to compete with AMD's air cooled chip lmfao
Owen Ramirez
>amd beats intel in almost every aspect by miles >amd get five less fps in counterstrike compared to intels counterpart oh no...
Ian Martin
>few months from now Intel will release it's 3rd patch further reducing clock speeds due to Spectre vulnerabilities FTFY
>company is called INTEL >surprised when they work for intelligence agency
Noah Brooks
At least I don't have to delid or run devlish high OCs. I will buy a 12 core 4.5 GHz+ CPU for the same price next year and replace my HTPCs CPU with my 2700X then. In the meanwhile it outperforms Intels 2016-7 flagships on 100 W.
Aaron Jackson
No. I don't wait anymore. I had two Intel based machines but I don't see a reason to support Intel anymore. The 1700 came close to my main rigs 5820K, the 2700X is superior in any term. Any upcoming CPU will destroy it completely. I'm glad I still could get a good price as people believe these "Intel is better" myths.

tfw $200 1700 @ 4GHz does it get any more comfy than this, bros?
Justin Reed
Playing gaems is arguably a more intlelligent pastime than watching movies.
Luis Lopez
I'd say that is largely but not categorically true.
Leo Mitchell
More like, a year. Fuckhead.
William Roberts
AMD literally releases just fast enough to barely keep up with Intel LMAO what planet do you live on?
Oliver Reed
yeah, a 10 core Xeon E5-2687W v2 for $300 and a free working LGA2011 motherboard
Easton Jones
>j-just wait >amdrones That post quoted an Intlet literally saying "j-just wait". >the absolute state of Intlet hypocrisy
Gabriel Smith
>locked at 2.26ghz Yuck. Only comfy Xeons are $15 w3440 on an H55, $50 X5675 on an X58 or a $150 E5-1660 on the rare chance you get a functional X79 board for pennies. Otherwise $200 1700 on a B350 has it in the bag.
Juan Gutierrez
I forgot, 771 socket Xeons in modded 775 sockets are also comfy af
David Wood
How's that 10nm coming along? How many more lakes do you need to release before the performance actually increases?
