Still trying to lobby my boss into buying these for the whole corp

I want one of their laptops as my next laptop purchase.

there are that many jew pictures?

PureOS languages support is trash

Are you saying there shouldn't be?

how many users can you get from here? you get paid either way?

they're heading in the right direction, however prices are quite high, ideally they should be creating something similiar to a chromebook

They're the company that uses the cheap chink ODM Topstar and then bumps the price up by like 200% for a few hardware kill switches, right?

Nope! They're the company that actually now ships devices with Coreboot and me_cleaner, on skylake processors. You're a bit out of the loop. Stop spreading FUD.

And they use Topstar as their ODM. They're shit laptops.

Who cares? Literally every major laptop company uses chink ODMs.

I bought a Topstar laptop back when they first came to market. They were re-sold by PCSpecialist in the UK. They were awful laptops. They were so bad that PCSpecialist quit selling them and reverted back to using Clevos for 13 inch models. Cheap build quality. Awful components. No shielding on said components so that when you plugged headphones in, you could hear interference from the hardware. Eventually the screen died. Thankfully I only paid around £400 for it. But Purism is reselling them for well over $1000. For what? Coreboot and me_cleaner? What a joke.

english is all that is needed

>I bought a Topstar laptop back when they first came to market
and what year was that?

>implying all chink ODMs are the same quality.

Only two or three years ago. Funny thing is when it was released the Linux crowd were calling it the "Macbook killer". It wasn't. Not by a long fucking shot. I had a 2010 Macbook 13 inch at the same time. A laptop five/six years older, that was of better construction and finish than the Topstar.

It's a bottom of the barrel ODM. Even Clevo laptops are better. Shit, Gigabyte has used Clevo in the past for gaming laptops. I had a Gigabyte X1 at that time too. 11 inch, carbon fibre chassis. Barely used it because it liked to try and cook itself under every day use. The cooling was terrible.

They're a company that exists in a society that doesn't exist. Privacy is a vast political problem; selling privacy-enabling laptops is a luxurious comfort. Privacy is not compatible with corporate and marketing interests. I am glad this kind of a company can still exist, if for only a short amount of time probably.

They're ideologically agreeable, but I have no idea how the fuck they make any money. Everyone I know who cares about this sort of thing just buys an old ThinkPad and puts libreboot/coreboot and me_cleaner on it.

>but I have no idea how the fuck they make any money.

By buying piece of shit laptops and then astronomically marking them up.

I'd buy if they get a model with thunderbolt 3, look miles better than system76

You are underestimating this sites userbase in more ways than one.

I really hope they will break through and make ripples. We need it. I pre-ordered the Librem 5. If I can shill it, I will start a business, beginning with selling them.
While I would say you only need English, let's be fair here.
English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic (yeah shoot me) and Japanese is enough. If they have those down the rest can rot if they don't learn.

As far as I know they actually make their own laptops -unlike Goy76-.
