install Gentoo

How very intellectual of you. Let me break this down for you, but I'll explain it to you like you're a 5 year old, so you fully understand. If you look at my profile, you'll see I have about 500 posts, and I have almost 300 reputation. This means that over half of my posts or comments have been voted helpful, informative, funny, agreed with, or my posts have been liked. Now let's look at yours. You have about 20 posts, and only one reputation point. Meaning that statistically, one in every 20 of your posts it's reacted to positively. You see? I can mathematically prove your incompetence, immaturity, and stupidity. Please leave me alone, and go back to the sad life that you lead.

Unused hard-drive storage is wasted hard-drive storage :^)

What were you going to use that extra space for anyway, porn?
Your mother and I are very disappointed in you.

A good chunk of that is update files that Windows makes a bitch to get rid of.

I don't even know what show this is but I've fapped to this qt so much, I don't even know his name.

Also, any OS that uses more than 6GB for a base install is bloat.

Why are you lying?

Where'd this pasta come from?

It's 20gb. Although that is still bloated to FUCK.

Freetard disinfo is really amusing.

Post your reddit karma

17GB? The fuck?

How do you people live with this shit?

12GB of that is entirely drivers

open a command prompt as admin
type
Compact.exe /CompactOS:query
then
Compact.exe /CompactOS:always
then when the compression finishes do
powercfg /h /type reduced
to reduce your hibernation file to like 1-2gb max

If you enable Compact OS it only takes about 8gb, as that's how they get windows 10 on 32gb tablets for less than 100 USD. Hell they even sell 16gb tablets with windows 10 for less than that.

Pick related, it's a china tablet with legit windows 10.

Most Linux distros have a kernel with a lot of kernel modules compiled in them already so they could work with just about any standard hardware, in addition to shit like basic applications and the DE. Most of them still manage to fit on a DVD.

Backward compatibility

The fuck? Are you catholic, gay or a gril?
Its from some Isekai anime with mechs and magic. Not really worth watching but not that terrible.

LTSB clean install is 11GB, 10GB if you remove some shit that comes with it.

Where is your hardware acceleration tho?

He may have downgraded from W7 (or whatever) to W10. If you do that, Windows will stash the previous OS version in Windows.old, so it still takes up space. It deletes Windows.old after a month, I think.

how much of a poorfag are you that you're bothered by this?

How do you do this?

Can you even buy hard disk drives smaller than 1TB anymore?

Attached: 32545563.jpg (320x320, 39K)

500GB is the only size available under 1TB. Commonly found in External HDDs and cheap as fuck laptops.

Or you can you know, use disk cleanup.

Only a problem for Nvidia shit. Intel HD and Radeon work exceptionally well with the stock Mesa drivers.

If stores have stock

ironically, read the post above mine from another poster.

You mean 13GB, right?
Oh wait, you're probably NOT using LTSB.

I am using LTSB, you fucking retard

Attached: xfiles.png (1000x460, 74K)

Yes, it's bloated. No, it's not 30 GiB.

Attached: 0.png (1920x1080, 94K)

I AM using LTSB, you fucking retard, and LTSB iso just CAN NOT contain 30 GiB.

drivers and back compat(even bugs) to DOS and COM files

your welcome

They live with it pretty easily considering how large storage capacities are nowadays.

>2018
>average user has terabyte hdd with extra ssd
>waaah 30gb of OS
who cares?
>b-but it's bloat
it's windows, it's not meant to be good in linux way
