Heres my current.
I want to upgrade my monitors. Should i buy two identical 1080p monitors or one ultra wide one? I mostly play games.

why do you still live with your parents? why are you such a spoiled little shit?

also, protip: take the air contitioner and set it on the floor please. In fact, remove that little shelf thing at the foot of your bed. When you start banging girls you're gonna first wreck the AC unit first, then your girl is gonna wreck her ankle, fall over and then wreck your catan.

Now with slightly more cable management.

this was the coziest chemstation
sadly, I just put her in a box, awaiting installation in a new city for a new job

using some small isolation pads to angle until i can order some more

Hullo.

Nice use of space. Comfy.

Nice desk, otherwise very basic.

Again very basic. Upgrade those monitors. Nice keyboard+mouse though, I use the same keyboard.

Painfully uncomfortable looking and cramped.

Decent tech, you need a better desk by the looks of things.

Your PC is disproportionately better than everything else by a long way.

Looks pretty nice, functional with decent space and decent peripherals.

Attached: bst.jpg (3840x2160, 2.21M)

I need some tips to improve to shit. Don’t hold back.

Why? Invest in 4k/2k screen instead

No changes since last week.

What my setup was in its peak of glory. Now its just a single monitor and PC.

Attached: 4WayNoBorderDec192017.jpg (2000x1300, 664K)

I wanted to become a celldweller/stahli fan because I thought they were cool but idk man, they are kinda cringy tbqh. wat do? :/

It's cause he set it up horridly. And it's not really comfortable. My setup was based around comfort and ease of access. So I could just swivel around in my chair, and most things were right there and easy to use. His monitors are all over the place, he doesn't hide his wiring, and it all seems cramped and uncomfortable.

Wait no ignore this Im tripping hard and completely made up what your response said. You're talking about music not his set up. idk wtf my minds doing

>Halal cup
>German book

do try to explain, it might be funny

haha look what i bought

now im better than you

pro skill you cant go to wallmart and buy monitors!

mine, lil updated, moved the keyboard a bit. better for /v/idya

smolboi

How do you watch that TV? Laying on your side in bed? Looks cozy af. 7/10, only points off are for slightly cluttered feel.
Looks nice, but get some natural light into that room and take a stabler shot. Also, your meme trackpad is shit. 4/10 for the shaky shot.
Shit monitor, TV stand setup, trash can right next to desk, bad lighting. 2/10. Would be way better with a proper desk, nicer monitor (the aspect ratio is great, it's just so obviously bleedy and hot from the picture).
Relatively clean. Upgrade your peripherals (monitor + kb/mouse). But, your chair looks nice, the setup looks livable. 6/10.
Dude.
>nice posters (maps are good) plastering the wall with no consideration for aesthetics or spacing, with crease marks very visible
>garbage everywhere
>+ for UPS
>again, just, holy shit, garbage everywhere, too much stuff in too little space
>VR without any open space to use it in
>+ for thinkpads
>way too many coats
>WHY IS THERE A CABLE ON THE CEILING
1/10
Cramped but cozy. Nice lighting. Books look good, keep studying user. Clean your desktop. 7/10.
Love your setup. Nice speakers, unaesthetic but functional desk. Don't like the paper/sheet covering the wall. Monitor is beautiful. Thinkpad looks gorgeous and fits the aesthetic. Some trash on the left could've been cleaned for the shot. 9/10.
Your wall is too cluttered, but otherwise your setup looks fine. You should have leg room underneath your desk, which we can't see in the shot. Honestly, the posters are beautiful, keep them, but space them more nicely and get rid of like 90% of the garbage on your postboard. If you want to go further, keep more in your drawers (yellow cloth, pencils, whatever that is sitting on the right) organized nicely. 7/10.
Cute and cozy. Trash keyboard. Nice doggo calendar. A little cluttered, but the stack of thinkpads looks nice. 6/10.
Out of characters.

If your pc can run it, go for ultrawide.
cozy indeed
>snes pad with thumbstick
Heresy! Cute little tv though, does it work? Classic snes, or the mini, or something else?
Tidy. Younger me trashed a keyboard like that, still regret it...

Attached: setup.jpg (2738x1000, 450K)

the controller is one im making with a Teensy (got it coming in the mail) as a kinda successor to the NES Advantage back in the day - thumbstick is from a PSP i had for parts, and im gonna add a Home button as well, primarily to use with a Pi. As well, the tv works quite well, albeit in black and white BUT has mono A/V inputs on the back. pic related, working with my Raspberry Pi 2 with Retropie.

Attached: IMG_20180329_140115-01.jpg (2698x2020, 2.5M)

>trashed a keyboard like that, still regret it...
Goddamn, I can't even imagine. I got this basically untouched from my grandparents; they had an IBM Model F computer, and the keyboard had been used probably once before being stuck in the attic for ~30 years. I took it out a few years back, restored it, and have been using it daily since. I only wish there was a meta key.

Attached: IMG_20180625_235504.jpg (3264x2448, 1.7M)

what case is that?

very nice.

Chimera Cerberus. Small form factor (just under 20l with feet, just over 18 if you count them) mATX case. ATX PSU compatible. I'm going to put Threadripper 2 in it once it drops in August.

Attached: cerberus.jpg (1920x1280, 593K)

hey does that phone stand only work horizontal

cute pc

Attached: IMG_20180311_060109.jpg (933x525, 31K)

no also works sideways

horizontal = sideways but i think i got what i needed

Attached: 2345724635736457.jpg (476x372, 56K)

hehe sorry my bad

>9/10
The blind covering the wall is actually covering a built in cupboard that I use to store things, and it rolls up to have another CRT behind it and some games.
I didn't actually pose the setup for a pic. That's my home setup and it's always clean because of that. I've since put in a new carpet, upgraded the speakers and painted the cream chair to the right blue.
Pic is flat setup, so used for studying and being productive.

Attached: current setup.jpg (4032x3024, 2.8M)

what monitor is that and how do you like gaming on a mbp?

I have been considering the 13" is it worth it?

Why do you mirror your displays?

Working on a DIY headphone hook under my desk instead of hanging it off of my mic arm like in pic related.

Where are all the regulars?

some nice and clean stations in this thread, always good to see. props to my logitech mouse brethren.

excuse the cables, just rebuilt into this new fractal case and haven't re-zip-tied

Attached: buttstation.jpg (1257x943, 211K)

Piss off you massive fucking homo

The monitor is a PVM-1271Q. As for the Mac, I actually avoid it and try to game on the GPD Win as much as possible to conserve hard disk space, but it's serviceable with the games that work.

Am hoping to get a small form factor desktop sometime down the road to handle games that are currently too much for the GPD to handle and lack a OSX port.

The Mac screen is too distant to really bother trying to read it from my seat, and it makes for a seamless transition between laptop and desktop usage.

>using that background

I really don't understand not using a case. Do you really want to clean your shit every week?

background is comfy, and I don't have carpet so there's minimal dust. I've had it for a couple months and it's still clean.

nice nendos

comfy minimal desktop, all I can say. What monitor is that?
comfy minimal
honestly pretty dope spare the shit OS, do you have any /vr/?
onions but pretty nice, not gonna nitpick you but move the shit to the left of your desk out of frame if you don't care to clean it up.
nice and clean, wood desk is cool but the legs on those monitor stands fucking kill me.
best mom's basement/bunker core, 10/10

>honestly pretty dope spare the shit OS, do you have any /vr/?
There's a Saturn in the pic, but yes. The rest of my stuff is with my TV, but there's not any Jow Forums stuff in it to really bother showing off on this board.

I'll probably change that once I get around to picking up that small form-factor PC.

Looks like a HP Pavilion. I used to have one too, my old daily driver, served me as a poorfag video watching station until I could afford better.

Attached: Voyager-Station.jpg (2048x1536, 848K)

God you're such a needy bitch. Your attic is lame and you battle station is hidious.

Maybe I need good speakers, the old family desk is comfy.

retro audio boye
comfy, nice view
clean, I like it, k712 as well, nice.

MIC setup looks like it would have to catch a lot of background noise to pick up on you, but I don't know a lot about these things.

Attached: DCIM0512.jpg (1632x1224, 145K)

Yeah, I don't get it, it's a tiny room in an attic... I'd be ashamed honestly (and shit like the giant ionizer tower in the middle ruins it even more)

What's a good chair these days? I want to replace my old cum stained chair but don't know what to get. Preferably under $200

Attached: 1529301287815.png (600x600, 166K)

I actually really love this one, those Dell monitors always give a productive vibe, recommend that you get Flux though, saves your eyes. Rating on that trackball? I used to have a Kensington Orbit but it made a really high pitched noise when idle.

yeah i had an AMD-based model of it til it had the GPU issue that most of them did in the models that ran nVidia Graphics (desoldering from heat). but this one a friend gave me about 3 years ago, his gf had it in a drawer for years, dead HDD, no battery, and so i fixed it up (new hard drive, upgraded the ram from a gig to 4gb, replaced the busted keyboard with the one from my dead HP, and replaced the missing battery). it's not bad but uses a dual core T5200 and GMA950 gfx, so the only thing its good for is light computing, and i also use it with an old capture device i have, which cant use anything higher than Win7 32bit. but its snappy and stable.

Pretty damn neato.

>muh blue and pink
No one likes you on /v/ and no one likes you here either.

>I live in a hospital waiting room

Why tho?

I followed the cable from right to left and felt like "e x c u s e m e?"

Late to the party boys.

I like this. Cool view, I'm guessing the US?

Attached: DSC_1071.jpg (3840x2160, 2.5M)

Also, it was nice in Edinburgh last night.

Attached: DSC_1206.jpg (5984x3366, 3.48M)

It was nice in Aberdeen at 11:30pm too. See pic. Nice, clean and functional station. Looks good.

I actually used to use F.lux but I ruined one of my monitors with it- early IPS panels are susceptible to burn in, so that monitor became yellow. The trackball is amazing, easy to clean, comfortable and accurate.

Attached: Sunset.jpg (1920x1080, 250K)

I don't always do full rates but when I do, rate my shit motherfuckers.

You're starting to break into the realm of too much shit shoved into a corner my friend.
Was this picture taken with a potato? Blurriness ruins how decent of a set up this is.
>titty mousepad
>feelssadman
Matching monitors are always pleasing.
I'll overlook the lack of cable management for this level of win.
I like the retractable key chains for your vr.
I'm sure the next iteration will be even cozier.
The lack of symmetry or any kind of order is kind of anxiety inducing.
>based crt life
Everything looks too close together. Spread things out a little bit, utilize more of your wallspace. A little work with cable routing and though would be a nice setup.
Very comfy setup plush crab man.
Must have gotten fairly warm in there.
Where do your feet go?
Love the little tiny tv, does it work?
Looks like a pretty comfy chill room my guy.
>Koffeecreamer
I see you are a man of very refined tastes.
Pretty comfy.
Turn down the monitor brightness to 0 for better BST photos. Looks like a place where a guy can get some shit done.
>SAWNIC
Very nice
Really nice clean setup, solid 9.5/10
>ehhh its bobcat man
Really like the setup but I'm not sure on the caseless tower.
Nice and comfy. Dat Bert n Ernie doe.
It has potential, but the fact that nothing really matches bugs me.
Pretty comfy chill and workstation.
Is this the fabled nerd lan cave?
Nice view. Makes me miss my second apartment on the 19th floor overlooking a nearby lake.
Pretty tight, but otherwise looks alright.
>look at muh pills n gun guis
Looks pretty decent. Love the tower.

Attached: The Fuckery.jpg (4160x3120, 3.6M)

it works quite well as shows

Sweet!

yeah has mono a/v on the back. had a similar RF only model complete in box from curbfind the other week - nephew wanted it and i gave it to him

wassup

>comfy minimal desktop, all I can say. What monitor is that?
BenQ XL2730z (exact same model as Zowie XL2730). It's got decent colors (not great, not assrapingly bad), but it's 1440p @ 144Hz with Freesync, near lowest-possible latency for any LCD, and has backlight strobing/pixel overdrive for motion blur reduction (which has been surprisingly hard to live without on other displays). It's perfect for >muh gaymes, and makes daily desktop use much more pleasant.

too cold

It's quite nice just now my dude.

Nice, I've actually still never been up to Aberdeen yet. Worth the trip?

Attached: Screenshot_20180626-182506.png (2160x3840, 2.56M)

thats too cold for open windows my hands get too cold for typing at that temp

>has computer in their bedroom
KYS

really? once we get into the 20's it's uncomfortably hot for me. anything between 10 and 20 is comfy window open territory for me. I rarely sit on the computer if it's over 20 though, it's out to one of the nearby bars to chill outside with a beer or something.

in the trash it goes

is the netflix series worth watching user?

hmm i'm really curious how this JBL Studio 530 sound live
