Let's start a new guts thread

Let's start a new guts thread.
I have a cable hell on the back, but it's closed well, so no worries at all.

And here is the top. It werks.

Just brought this case 2 days ago.

I'd really love to get the R6 for my next case but the non TG version is $165 USD here and they don't sell extra drive sleds here.

I7 8700k
EVGA Z370 FTW
EVGA 1080 TI Hybrid
32GB RAM
500GB 860 Evo
240GB V300

>the non TG version is $165 USD
I wanted the TG version but got the non TG version instead, but I got a 20% refund. wanna swap, dude?

CLEAN

What case?

How bent is your sata and power connector to your ssd? I was getting 90deg cable bends lieing the ssds flat.

I mounted 2 on their side (in one bottom mount).

They are sitting high into gpu venting territory though.

My piece of shit PCs guts

Did a little upgrade recently, finally got rid of the total piece of shit corsair watercooler.
Now I'm waiting on my hdd docking so I can take out the 3tb disk, it's causing a rattle that drives me nuts.

Attached: IMG_20180612_205206.jpg (1580x1500, 370K)

Curious what was shitty on your end about the corsair? Picked up the h115i pro as I needed something quick and it's dropped about 14c off my idle air cooled tempss and about 23c off my full load temps.

LOL, that's special!

>piece of shit

Attached: 1520724904732.png (443x678, 334K)

I was retarded and bought the h80i a few years ago. Single fan, small rad. Loud and inefficient.
Yours will perform better, with the bigger rad & dual fan. But this Noctua would outperform it, and I do not hear it at all. Only some of the 3-fan rads cool a tiny bit better, but iirc they are all louder than the noctua too.

I have the H60 2018, it seems I have to downvolt it because it runs at 4000 RPM. I don't know why, its the same pump as my H150i, which is completely silent.

>Noctua would out perform it
I've had a Noctua DH-15 with dual fans at one point. It was comparable in peformance but I had to run the fans faster than fuck to make it so. Corsair's newer fans that came with the h115i are actually quieter than the NH-D15 when achieving the same temps. Noctua is a great cooler though, arguably can't find better air.

speccy btw,
Also, the stickers you see on the bottom are semi translucent so the LEDs aren't eye killers at night.
I think I should lower the fan on the back, it's a bit high and should perform as it should.

I see, they are starting to catch up then.

This is my first build. Please be gentle, my friends

Attached: image.jpg (3024x2734, 3.72M)

why a low profile noctua cooler?

Because it's a good, quiet cooler

>inb4 photo posts upside down
My eATX setup stuffed in the smallest tower I could find that still had great radiator support. Still need to invest in some MDPC-X sleeving and make my own custom length cables, although I intend on finding a GPU worth watercooling in the next 12 months, so I'll probably worry about cabling then.
A lot of pumps can be completely variable in build quality, and it's not unusual to have even two identical models with one being near silent, and the other annoyingly loud.

Attached: _20180626_064637.jpg (3840x2160, 1.21M)

and so are all the non low profile ones for cheaper and even more quiet and cooler

The low-profile noctuas tend to be pretty cheap, at least recently. Those and the Cryorig ones can be had for ~$25 IIRC

Why is it running so hot?

Attached: build2.png (1654x1084, 3.77M)

Oh, then my bad. I though they were 10~more just because they were lowe profile. I saw them once and it was like 60$.

All the fans are running really slow and it's hot here. If I turn all the fans off and run any game or process a video it will go for the 60s or more.

>What case?
Mastercase MC500P.

Attached: IMG_1110.jpg (4032x3024, 2.61M)

>I have a cable hell on the back
same. Also, cooler that falls behind the DH15 by 1-2 degrees at $50 and not hamplanetmode

>No GPU block
Wasted..

i kek so hard

>clean
>using AIO's
I literally fucking hate you people.
That is not fucking clean, and not fucking good.
J U N K

furthermore that goes for any pleb that uses AIO junk.
if you use an AIO, I instantly look down upon you.

Why?

This build sucked to put together but I'm happy with the results, out with the old and in with the new. The 1080 TI -technically- can fit in a 250D but only with an hour of giving yourself an aneurysm. 2.5 slot cards just too big

>didn't read the post
Excellent work

>piece of shit
Stop being insecure, you have nice parts and you know it

Good job, I like the colour scheme a lot. What are the specs on it?

damn son

This Zotac card is silent and stays cool, but good grief did it take literally weeks tinkering with their terrible fucking software to get it at all acceptable, jesus fuck

Been really interested in hyrdo cards, a shame they have such a price premium

at least you're not /blackandred/ senpai

cooler bro

Real nice colors, dig it

>tfw your rig looks great until you dump a video card in there
PCIE was a mistake

Then use an external GPU thing. It might look even better that way, like having a cool looking tiny box next to your cool looking mid box.

is this an autistically overpowered oversized HTPC or a troll post?

D15 looks amazing. I will get one myself once I upgrade CPU and motherboard.
nice fan setup

If your case can handle it, get /ourcooler/ Thermalright True Spirit 140 POWER

Wouldn't that be worse?

to make it look cleaner i'd move the power cable behind the tube and pass it through the grommet to the left of the one it's currently going through

No, if these were nice this piece of shit wouldn't turn off randomly
>Bought 200 € PSU
No. Just think of the Ryzen 7 being a Core i5. There were retarded people in 2017 who bought a quadcore for the same price. It holds all my storage, can encode videos, play older games in 4K and weights less than 5 KG, so I could travel with it. Stands in my TV rack so I can move it easily.

What's up with all the displays?
Good hw setup tho, nice to see someone who understand they actually don't need the 3% performance increase every new gen offers, every year.

Laptop guts anybody?

yep, used a hammer on the drive cage.

Thank you pal.

absolutely beautiful

This, its so fucking clean, you barely see any cables.

wow can you do me a favor and push that tube onto the gpu block barb a little better?

...

No one cares about your custom loop you stupid faggot. Way to waste time and money to impress other autists.

Details on this setup please

by like a degree C

Update

Core clock is now at a stable 5.0ghz at 1.235 volts and the new GPU vertical mount as arrived.

I have been getting the TN displays for free, so I have been using them and I usually have something to do with them.
The Philips 1080 is mainly for monitoring Deluge. The Sony 1024 5:4 for the music. The Samsung will be for the chats, like discord, WhatsApp, IRC, Asus 1080 is my main second display, where I usually keep the browser of I'm doing something in my main display and PS4/Switch, and finally, the CrossOver is my main monitor, for gayming, browser, media, etc.
Also, I have been thinking about upgrading a lot of times, but with these prices, not even worth when the ram was OK in price (when the 6700k was out and such), and it would actually be a downgrade in ram and maybe in motherboard, since it looks like if you don't spend 250€ in a mobo, you will get a shitty one.

Applaud yourself for wasting your time building it twice, master builder.
