OBS

Do you prefer OBS classic or OBS Studio? Classic is no longer in development but it seems much lighter on resources.

Don't reply if you haven't used both versions.

I like the classic for recording video. The studio one confuses me

I use 0.622b build

Tried both when Studio was pretty young. It had some option I couldn't find in the classic, sticked with it after.

If you're jumping in now, I'd recommend studio anyway though, as the plugin developers are also slowly backing up from classic.

Studio was using 80k MiBs of ram versus 15, it's a pretty big difference.

so?

Lightweight is comfier.

Streamlabs obs is perfect for nvenc encoding imo.

Why would streamlabs be any better? nvenc is everywhere.

I used the classic up until I had to use Studio at my job, much prefer Studio now.

fag

I use shadowplay because I'm not a sperg.

I only jumped from Xsplit when Studio came out. It's much better. Classic doesn't have nearly enough features.
