I've got a laptop pretty much exactly like that, 2GB RAM, 32GB SSD, Celeron N3050. It runs great with my light/cut down Debian setup.
The battery life is crazy, it lasts something like 10 hours or maybe more. It never gets hot, just a bit warm to the touch. I love it.
The only times it has any trouble is if I open more than 3 or so tabs and browse shitty websites with loads of javascript and autoplaying videos. The modern internet sucks.
