FUCK YOU ALL! WHERE'S THE GODDAMN DOWNTHEMALL FOR FIREFOX QUANTUM, YOU PIECES OF SHIT?!

Attached: file.png (128x128, 12K)

Wget and youtube-dl are better

RIP

Attached: file.png (220x135, 12K)

they all went down ;_;

pic related has been a decent alternative so far

Attached: downloadstar.png (468x68, 4K)

does it have a nice download manager that can auto-retry on fail?

>flashgot

Attached: 42a.jpg (650x429, 58K)

It was pretty useful to catch downloads and direct them to another download manager

Works on my machine.
What about it?

Attached: Capture.png (903x633, 130K)

Oh my God, this works! Thank you, user.

post firefox version

>post firefox version
You mean Firefox-based browser, right? Nobody uses Mozilla Firefox here anymore.

Once xul addons no longer work due to lack of support there will be no reason to use a fork.

I used to always watch youtube videos with mpv because no ads and less memory

Attached: 1435886714227.jpg (850x782, 299K)

I still do using quantum ;^))

Is there anything in chrome like this? This could pick up download links on localhost pages, I've never found another manager that could do that

The only sane person in this thread

how?

???

Attached: niggers.png (1920x1042, 320K)

depo has been created.
your argument is invalid

Explain? Who will maintain all of the addons if the original authors dont?

every working version is being stored. if a new version of addon is proven to be fucked up, las working is then freezed and stored. wf dev is working on it

Hmm, we'll see how well that works out.
Not that it matters for me, all my extensions work or have alternatives.

>there will be no reason to use a fork.
>mozillafags this delusional

There isn't for me ;^)

I feel your pain

Wasn't the author planning to make a lite version of this?

>youtubedl
Love this utility so much. Easy to use, not even a terminator pro.

This addon broke on me years ago. Every download would error out for some reason I could never determine. I spent about 3 minutes on google and couldn't find anything so I gave up and wrote my own web scraper instead. I'm much happier with my life now.

I honestly really like wget but I want to get into it a little more and get past the basic punching in wget url and that's literally it all I know how to do with wget I'm too much of Linux brainlet to get more into it it confuses me a lot ;_;

>firefox version
Why would you use inferior software?

it still works...

just read the manual, seriously. The most common advanced use is using it to mirror or scrape a website.

Chrome botnet here
Just found Image Download on the webstore and ripped a whole thread of Tessa Fowler on /s/, very handy.

Allows URL filters with optional wildcard or full regex, filtering by upper and lower limits on width and height, and a few other bits and bobs.
You can also create a subfolder right from the extension during the download.
Really fucking nice especially since I'd messed with like 4 or 5 other ones that were total shit.

Now I miss it

Attached: aHR0cDovL20uYmVzd=.gif (550x326, 47K)

this popped up after an attempted google search
guess i wasn't kidding about the botnet, and i can't even block google scripts from Jow Forums without fucking up the captcha
jesus

>missing literal malware
What did he mean by this?

any good non botnet/open source alternative to this thing ?

Version 1-2 was goat

>that colour scheme
what are you 12

not him but did its like fuck off oclock in the morning and wer are all losers with super bright gaymin monitors, neets and light sensitivity dude

consider turning the brightness on your monitor down, retard

backlight strobing on high refresh rates, and doubles as a light source for vitamin d generation., also fuck you im not turning it up and down like a radio in a drive through every god damned day

On Quantum? With some python dependencies and you can't pass args like the legacy extension used to.

You wouldn't download a mall

Holy shit why would you use garbage like that

>still no good vimperator/pentadactyl alternatives

Fuck this gay earth.

i live in a basement

RIP :((((

Attached: Jdownloader.png (512x512, 311K)

Fuck Quantum. I'll never give up DownThemAll.

Attached: Firefox ESR 52.3.0.png (1304x644, 239K)

Thats what you get for sing the latest botnet release. Use version 48 if youwant everything to just work.

get waterfox like a sane human and use both extension frameworks

Sane people care about security more
What do you still use it for? I remember that the likes of Jdownloader and DTA were used when shit was shared online with bazillion different links to some rapidshit sites

FlashGet 1.7.3 is comfy too.

Wget isn't as convenient for downloading all images posted in a Jow Forums thread. Or am holding it wrong?

Good post.

Remember >>>/rs/?

uGet is better

what? it works

Use inb404 Python script.

I've already written my own shell script using github.com/EricChiang/pup. I'm just saying that Wget isn't a direct replacement for DownTheMall.

downloading Jow Forums threads, Google Images, and other galleries along with other extensions that make the links visible to it. I have an older version of Downthemall that works better for me.

Shut the fuck up retard

>use Jdownloader
ono

someones hangry, eat a snickers sweety

daily reminder that ESR 52.9.0 (released a few days ago) will be the last ESR release without quantum

They're also dropping XP and Vista support.

join masterrace, faggots

>download waterfox
>rendering issues everything
>videos are broked
>spellcheck doesn't even work
th-thanks!

>all these retards that can't curl or wget

curl -L '.json' | jq -r '.posts[] | select(.tim != null) | "i.4cdn.org/g/\(.tim)\(.ext)"' | xargs aria2c

god damn

this reminds me of those times when i'd visit my brother at his house

we'd watch those japanese game shows together

god damn

>aria2c
nice

fucked it up.

curl -L '.json' | jq -r '.posts[] | select(.tim != null) | "i.4cdn.org/g/\(.tim)\(.ext)"' | aria2c -i -

This one works

oh for fucks sake, the stupid formatting engine is replacing the url.

cURL takes the thread url, other than that it works

RIP in pieces

The bigger loss is treestyletabs. So much better tab management.

werks for me
addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tree-style-tab/?src=search

It didn't work when I tried, but that was some time ago, I'll have to check it out. Thanks!

You can still do this user...

>Waterfox 56.2.1
>DTA 3.1.1
>works the same as it always did
Good thing I haven't "upgraded" to Quantum

I have none of these issues neither on Windows or Linux. Spellcheck works, videos work, I don't know what you mean by rendering issues but I've seen none.

Attached: waterfox.png (1920x1040, 540K)

jq is beautiful.

I use this frequently wtf you on about

Still works on Waterfox ;)

>youtube-dl
I run it and nothing happens. A window opens for a nanosecond and then nothing.

haha
wait, are you being sincere?

No, I'm shitposting for reactions.
