you have some serious problems with your taste, young man.
Best distro DE combo is Ubuntu with tweaked GuhNOME.
Ubuntu because you get more packages here than with any other distro and most of the things that matter work out of the box (ex.: font rendering).
The only reason why you would want to use anything else is if you have a specific use case - like if you are a dev or freetard.
And GNOME is because it is the most polished DE at the moment. It has clear guidelines (sometimes controversial) which form a coherent and distraction free environment. Put dash to dock on it and you are good to go.
You can comfortably navigate the DE by using keyboard only or, if you are retard, by using only a mouse (activities in the left corner + dock with favorite applications).
Although, OS and DE don't matter that much for me anymore because they are just a pipeline to Emacs + Firefox.
