I use Linux in a VM. I only use it for dev stuff.

I use a KVM for windows on my linux host. I get 98% performance, passing my gpu through to the vm via OVMF.

Windows and Consoles. I use Linux at work. Hoping to replace Windows with ReactOS since I mostly play old games.

If you already have windows and you plan to pay closed source games, then why bother moving to an open source version of your OS? you are already going to used closed source software, so why not just stick to it?

I have Windows 10 on my desktop for playing games and doing work related stuff. For all my everyday computer stuff (browsing the web, watching animu or movies, shit posting) I use my laptop that's running Linux.

I'm just messing with you gringo, of course linux is a vital asset to the scientific and programming community. Using wangblows for those fields is a fucking nightmare.

Being a hypocrite who uses Windows and free software is significantly better than being apathetic and not even trying. People who think they've side stepped every being wrong by refusing to have any convictions are trash. On the technical side, an open source Windows is less likely to force shutdown my computer or change my settings underneath me.

I grew out of video games. They just don't make good stuff anymore.

I just game with linux, no dual boot or vm. There are a lot of native titles and emulators that just work. Wine with dxvk let’s me play shit like overwatch or gta online pretty easily.
