What does that matter. It's Nvidia's fault for being so unfriendly to open source with their drivers, and anyone's fault bitching about problems with their Nvidia hardware for not doing the research and just expecting it to work and then blaming it all on the operating system when it doesn't.

Maybe-could-possibly-work is better than zero support at all. Use better hardware until Nvidia decides to pull the stick out of their ass.
